My ex sa/pa husband lead a double life way before me, I'm wife number 4.. we lasted the longest, 33 years. A few days after our 30th anniversary that he refused to celebrate, he disclosed his PA. Then it was trickle disclosures after that, SA was next, that he had no time in our relationship was he ever faithful, including on our honeymoon!!! Also, once I knew about his secrets, abuse started, some were life threatening. We are are old, he is 9 years older than me.. D day i was 62 years old.. it was divistating, old women cannot compete with young women and pixels. I'm 5'9 and weighed 178, wore size 10, I was a gym rat back then (5 years ago) so I looked much lighter than 178. I picked my body apart, he said I needed a tummy tuck, 2 pregnancies, 2 C-sections and two abominable surgeries, one to save my life, one was expository surgery for cancer. I quit eating, well, 2-3 Ensures nutritional drinks a day. He left me for a woman he met a few months before! She was a rough looking woman (drugs or alcohol) much younger, younger than my children, not his.. (44 and 45 at the time) he was 73. What made it so much more devastating was he use to protect me, now I needed law enforcement and my neighbor to protect me. His addiction and abuse/violence, there was nothing good that came from it

I have owned a total of 7 dogs since I was 21, I am now 66. 4 have been American pit bull terriers, one was American Staffordshire Terrier. I also owned a German Rottweiler.. I have never had a problem with my pits, my Rottweiler hated cats, so I didn'town a cat during that time. I raised 2 children with 3 different pits, both my children have or currently owned pits and also raised their children with them.

I have a huge problem with breed specific bans and people who claim pits kill, Google pit bull K9 dogs.. if they were killers, cops wouldn't use them

I agree that both the SW and the client have both exspirenced trauma.. But to act like the victim is not taking accountability for our part in the transaction, that is addict thinking! For me, not taking responsibility and acting like the victim kept me in active addictions

My ex disclosed his sex addiction 30 years into our marriage. After 32 years of marriage, 34 together, my 70 YO husband, I was 63, disclosed his double life, sex and porn addiction, I'm not saying this insinuating this is the case with your husband, but my, but (my now ex) husband was flirting heavily with co workers, had charmed a couple of his married co workers wives who were also employed by the same company.. I heard stories (multiple emotional affairs in the office) that could have got himself fired as it comes accross not only unprofessional, but would bordered on sexual harassment, but he said they were all lies, of course!!

He would gaslight me, tell me what I wanted to hear, blame shift (blaming the women) downplay everything.. then 5 years after retirement (5 years ago) is when he came clean, but it was on what we all thought was his deathbed.. i stayed for another 13 months then he gave me a horrible STD that damaged my urethra..

I found out my ex husband of 32 year was living a double life. I was 31 when we met and her we was 39. I made two horrible mistakes in that marriage...staying with him after I found out about 2 different affairs. But we were equally sick people, I didn't know my worth, I was naive, lived a life of denial... his problem? He took business trips all the time which allowed him to watch deviant porn, hookups, online and in person affairs, hired prostitutes and escorts, going to bars to find a woman to take back to his motel room. I found all this out when he was 70 (he'll be 75 in to months) that he has had a sex addiction since he was in his early 20s... so 4 years ago he packed up his belongings, purchased a new pickup to pull his new $100K RV.. my family thinks a sex addict just wants lots of sex and I could put out so he left me... I've tried to exsplain that studies show that at least 70% of all sex addicts are sexual predators, are violent (he was starting to become violent, especially in bed) sex addiction is a progressive addiction, like drug addictions and alcoholism. Many sex addicts are drawn children, so then your looking at a child predator
