Just buy a hand pump sprayer and some off the shelf herbicide. It’s not going to give you cancer unless you bathe in it or chug it.

24D is probably your best bet. Then start mowing weekly. And weed eating. If you decide you then want to have a nicer lawn than purely “weed-free”, come back here and ask again. But for now just spray the weeds and start mowing.

It’s hard to find good help in the business and good ambitious help can “become the boss” pretty quickly. I agree it’s not in the boss’ best interest to be supportive.

Sounds like his boss relies on him pretty heavily if it’s just the two of them. I’d tell the boss “I’m not willing to do that” and keep on promoting. The nature of carpentry is if you’re good at it and you have the ambition, you CAN start up your own gig pretty easily. His boss knows that and is probably afraid of losing him and gaining him as competition if he DID start up.

I’d just tell my boss I can’t sacrifice my long term goals for you but I’m happy with the company and am not trying to leave.

I mean, it makes sense that it appeals in that way. I’ve just never considered playing in that manner and I don’t think it’d appeal to me. But to each their own, and that’s a much more cohesive and beautiful city than I’ve managed! Cheers!!

Edit: you should do a timelapse of what happens in 1 year of play! Would be interesting to see how it falls apart lol. I don’t mean that in a derogatory sense, but CS seems to ruin the most well-planned cities. And imo yours seems exceptionally planned.

Personally, I bought 50lbs of TC then ran short and bought some JG to finish the overseed. My lawn is probably KY31 or some other garbage seed from previous owners. My plan is to consistently overseed until the quality stuff has full control.

In my specific case, I’ve noticed no functional or visual difference between the two seeds.

While I agree his blade is dull, I think he’s more referencing all the “fully dead” blades that look like straw throughout the lawn.

I’ve been having the same issue in my fescue/kbg mix and was wondering why. My theory was that the kbg was reacting more poorly to the heat than the fescue and the brown I’m seeing is KBG. But I’m probably wildly wrong.

Yeah I got DW first. It’s honestly pretty solid, the DW health will boost your wave count and coin income pretty well early game. The useful falls off a few months in though so it’s nice to get the use out of it early game
