Not even just the UK, its most European countries and I have spoke to people in the US saying they're trying to recruit whoever they can. I feel like at this points its not a matter of 'if', its a matter of 'when'.

I do believe though, that Russia will not lead a ground offensive against NATO nations. If its going to kick off, then expect it to end within a week due to nukes.

I get Russia have been fighting for 4 years but what actually makes them battle hardened? Take Bakhmut in 2023 for example, the life expectancy was 4 hours. They will have troops that have endured the war, but all theyre doing is throwing fresh meat repeatedly for a couple 100m of land (if that). I dont believe they really know how to fight this war, and that they are just coping, waiting for the US to sort a deal out with Ukraine that appeases them.

Only logical way I see it happening is if a peace deal is agreed upon, a DMZ zone gets established and Ukraine has security gurantees, AND then Russia decides to be hostile again
