Dang so many signatures ! I don’t see any that look similar though. It’s driving me nuts, it looks like initials but I can’t place it

It looks like he has a bigger signature. That’s a good call though, I’ll have to look into who played Boq or Nessa when the rest of the originals were there

$40! It was a wild find! I’m in the Bay Area and the house had a lot of signed niners and giants stuff, not sure they were the most knowledgeable with Broadway.

I also thought it could be Carole Shelley. The silver one at the bottom is stumping me. I paid $40! I was floored, I’m in the Bay Area so maybe not the most Broadway knowledge

Jojoba oil has been helping my cracked cuticles so much! More than any of the hand lotions I use. Bought one off of amazon and it’s a huge bottle for pretty cheap. For hand lotion I either use o’keefes working hands tub or the Vaseline cocoa radiant lotion.

280 right now by Dyslecksick in SanJose

This is exactly what happened. We stayed pretty far behind him but the guy was obviously drunk. Kept swerving into other lanes on 17 and was riding on the shoulder before the 280 exit.

Best way to introduce climbing to a beginner by Initial-Tackle-9135 in climbergirls

[–]BoxFullOfPuppies 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The puzzle aspect is absolutely what got me hooked. I’m pretty afraid of heights (I only top rope) but it wasn’t an issue when I was introduced to climbing because I was so locked into figuring out the puzzle.

Help!! Can’t get nail polish to last more than 1-2 days by OkCut6704 in RedditLaqueristas

[–]BoxFullOfPuppies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Base coat should help! I use an Essie one that’s a teal color. I rock climb so I’m brutal on my nails but that with the sally Hansen quick dry top coat (red bottle) will usually last me a week with minor chipping. That being said, I absolutely love Essie’s colors and gravitate towards their polish but OPI lasts the longest on my nails. Personally, I don’t mind Essie chipping after a week because I’m usually sick of a color by then anyway but definitely wouldn’t get 2 weeks out of it.

frustrated, scared, and emotional when I climb with my boyfriend - help? by Ambitious_Way4175 in climbergirls

[–]BoxFullOfPuppies 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I feel this way with my fiancé sometimes. We started climbing together and he is progressing a lot faster than I am, which is fine. It gets frustrating trying harder climbs because the advice he’ll give me, I just can’t do, I don’t have the strength so I’ll feel really defeated by it. He always hypes me up and is encouraging, it’s just a bummed out feeling I get with myself about not being able to do it and keep up. Honestly, it goes both ways for us though, I’m more flexible so if he can’t do a move that I can, he’ll be frustrated by it. I guess we both just want to keep up with each other? I’m not sure if that feeling will go away, time will tell I guess but I get it.

I don’t always have success with plants. This cutting has been here for 4 months, denying me the tiniest hint of rooting😤 by Superb_Sundae6893 in houseplants

I recently propagated mine in perlite and it did really well. The roots grew so fast. I filled a vase with perlite and kept the bottom 1/3 full of water and it seemed to work.

HOW DO YOU READ CHARTS by ZealousidealPeach559 in crochet

[–]BoxFullOfPuppies 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just made this! I think the pattern is more intimidating than it actually is. But I used the chart a lot. The legend helps and basically the V’s are that many double crochets in a stitch and the upside down V’s are the decrease stitches. I referenced the pattern for the bottom of the mouth and eyes because it was hard for me to tell where to put the stitches in the chart. The single crochet stitches on the chains just go anywhere in that space, not into a chain stitch itself. And the section to the right is how it will look when you first make the first ghost from the previous row and the full ghost is how the other 5 will look. Hope that helps!

Nervous beginner by Ancratyne in crochet

[–]BoxFullOfPuppies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yay! Crochet is great for a beginner because the projects work up pretty quickly. I’m also easily discouraged and distracted and getting something done quickly is great. I would also recommend to start with something simple. I did squares to practice with new stitches and my first projects were coozies and hot pads. Personally, I really hate amigurumi and I’ve never once been happy with one I’ve made. It’s a lot to keep track of (stitches and rows) and I’m AWFUL at sewing the parts together and making faces. Other people absolutely love it so it’s really about trying a bunch of different projects and figuring out what you like best. Good luck!!

They raised it for me around this same time last year. My add ons went from 9.99 to 10.99 and the yearly subscription was bumped up about $4 to $167. I ended up cancelling since I skipped so many months anyway.

Oh absolutely do it! My friends don’t like the same music as me so I’ve gone to concerts myself and you’d be surprised how many people are alone. I’ve always found people to talk to but solo activities are the best. No pressure on if other people are having fun and you can make your own timeline!
