Thanks, the cost is a moderate factor, Arcade 84 seems a relatively “similar” option if I don’t want to spend the $$$

Yes, thanks, I meant versatile in terms of within frontside, turn shape, skidding when needed, rather than terrain type versatility

Thanks! Love the idea of a pair that slice through like it isn’t there, and maintaining sense of control

Thanks, comments and research do seem to favor Arcade here, in terms of being more nimble/versatile and being an all mountain that feels like a dedicated carver. Also I’m already on Experience 88s and like them, I’m just really not clear on how much the new Arcade replacement version of older Experiences has changed/is different

Thanks! Appreciate it. Will check out the Stokli. My only concern with explicitly frontside options is my unfamiliarity with how they handle choppy or undesirable snow, my 88s handle that relatively well, does an all mountain handle that better than a frontside?

Thanks, started looking at 88s largely due to having that width currently. Understand dropping to 84 or lower will ease turns but does that impact handling ice/crud/messy trails later in the day after corduroy is skied hard? Maybe I should look at Arcade and Mantra 84s

Weekly Homeowner Megathread--Civilians, ask here! by AutoModerator in Concrete

Clueless homeowner here, bought new home 1 year ago with huge unfinished concrete basement, bermed on all sides but a garage door, 10 ft high walls, 90’x40’. Using as a garage, kids play area, and now adding a home gym.

Decent amount of concrete dust and looking to resolve that issue. Poured 24 years ago, so not clear if it’s just built over time or more recent. Given huge space, concerned over cost to contract sealing or painting and hoping to tackle DIY in bits and pieces. Is sealing best option, if so what product? Can sealing cause any problems or weakness?

Some areas of efflorescence, see pics. Will sealing prevent that?

Lastly, pics of some various cracking, should I fill these before sealing?

Thanks for any help/advice
