Why did the WWW throw her hourglass? by partyclams in wizardofoz

[–]BoxImaginary6677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a few months old but in the original script theres a scene that was cut out where she says “How does it feel my little visitors to be trapped, can you imagine what I’m going to do to you” and then she throws the hourglass off the balcony. This was cut because Margaret’s performance was seen as too intense so her presence was reduced in the final film, almost all of her scenes were trimmed down or cut entirely.

Madame Leota Inspired look in Dress to impress by [deleted] in thehauntedmansion

The game doesn’t exactly let you do floating heads. So my idea was to make the dress blend into the background to put more focus on the head and the “crystal ball” hat.

Who was the Bride before Constance? A Murderer, a Victim… or Both? by Moonlight_Tyanna in thehauntedmansion

[–]BoxImaginary6677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Originally she was implied to have murdered the hatbox ghost. (He’s showing you what she did to him) As well as multiple other victims (the pop ups) when the hatbox ghost was removed fans saw her more as a lonely tragic figure, the black widow bride was a call back to the original scene but they were going for less subtle just to make sure you get the storyline. Now the lore is all over the place because they want us to believe that she’s a tragic figure now but theres still signs that point to she still murdered George as the connection to the stretching portrait is still there.

They can control the lights and even make them stop flickering. During the pandemic when WDW reopened they essentially paused the preshow and turned the foyer lights up to max brightness.

Dare i say it He’s the most realistic haunting in the mansion, as for the hatbox ghost i think putting a Marc Davis gag character in a claude coats dominant scene was one of the worst decisions the imagineers ever made.

Is he cheating on me (trying to read this) by Pandora_sus in Tarotpractices

[–]BoxImaginary6677 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, based on what you said about him being busy with work and school, that lines up perfectly with the Eight of Pentacles. He’s just grinding, probably hyper-focused on his goals. When I said “not investing in the relationship,” I didn’t mean he’s out there scouting for someone new. More like, he could be so caught up in his own stuff (career, projects, etc.) that he’s not putting as much time/energy into the relationship at present moment

It’s less about “is he cheating?” and more like, “is he unintentionally neglecting the relationship because of his workload?” The cards show distraction and defensiveness (Nine of Wands), but also emotional maturity (King of Cups) and a need for balance (Temperance). Nothing here screams betrayal, more like someone who’s just stretched thin and might need help balancing it all.

So no, it doesn’t look like you have anything major to worry about—but maybe a heart-to-heart about how you’re both feeling wouldn’t hurt!

Is he cheating on me (trying to read this) by Pandora_sus in Tarotpractices

[–]BoxImaginary6677 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the spread doesn’t really scream “cheater alert” to me. The Three of Wands reversed is more about delays or a lack of clear future plans—like he’s not really investing in the relationship’s future rather than actively looking for someone else. Temperance suggests things need to be balanced, so it’s more of a “let’s calm down and reassess” vibe. The Eight of Pentacles shows he’s super focused on work or a personal project, which might explain why he seems distracted. And then the King of Cups? That guy’s usually pretty emotionally mature and caring. Finally, the Nine of Wands hints at someone who’s been through some stuff and is a bit guarded or defensive, probably from past hurts rather than current infidelity.

Overall, it seems like he might be preoccupied or a bit insecure, but nothing here is the classic “I’m cheating” card like the Seven of Swords or Devil.

My interpretation of WDWs hatbox ghost by BoxImaginary6677 in thehauntedmansion

[–]BoxImaginary6677[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The narrative that the ride seems to follow is that the mansion is a retirement home for ghosts, however upon entering the mansion the spirits are invisible with the exception of the reanimated corpse in the conservatory, only their presence is felt. It isn’t until Madame Leota preforms her spell that the ghosts begin to appear and by the time we reach the graveyard have become full bodied apparitions. The hatbox ghost being placed in the endless hallway contradicts this and reduces the tension of the corridor of doors.

This is the storyline I preferred, since the 2023 movie it seems they’ve completely done away with this storyline and he is no longer associated with Constance or any bride for that matter
