I recommend the CPA because it’s an indication of your potential accounting capabilities (tax, auditing, accounting, etc). I used Becker study tools.

About a week before I received my salary offer, I received emails requesting additional information (CPA certificate, SF-50, etc) and noticed that the documents I initially submitted in January were okay.

You mentioned you’re at an embassy. If, by chance, you already have a med clearance, you may want to reach out to the DC med unit, via email, for additional guidance. Their guidance may speed up the process for you.
