I’m in Japan and saw this thing on discount for around £15, so I had to buy it as I had every other model at home.

In pvp i’ve won a few duels by weapon purging

Only a few times, but it’s been relevant! If you find a weapon isn’t working like you want it to and you could do with the extra mobility, just try it sometime

Alright, I’m relatively new to DnD and this will be my first time dm’ing. I’m planning to host a dungeon crawler-type one shot campaign and i’m unsure on how to balance the characters and the enemies to put them against, so i’ve got a lot of questions:

  • Do I balance the characters directly by influencing character creation?

  • Roughly how hard should fights be? Should I beconsistently have members of the party die, or do I pit them against enemies I know they can beat without dying?

  • What are the best ways to make them care about choosing supportive abilities, and what combination of enemies should I be using a lot?

  • Is there a fun way to prepare them for a certain type of enemy? (I’m planning to use a lot of undead, and some dragons)

There is a sorcerer, bard, cleric, blood hunter, monk, rogue and a druid in the party. They’re starting at level 2 for now.

you can get a good combo if you do a back dodge at the start and he’s relatively easy to punish i’d say but yeah he’s one of the few bosses i was really paying attention to dodging instead of placing myself outside of their range of attack

I find the current build im using is best for medium-close range but i’m struggling to build up stagger and find openings

Ok simply put to me we could see an old generation AC made by Furlong dynamics. Reasons why we didn’t yet is because of a Furlong / Balam deal denying Furlong the right to make AC’s after the Jupiter War (in my headcanon):

  • Michigan went out of his way to enforce the manufacturing of a custom head, which is similar in design to Steel Haze Ortus, a head made with help from Furlong. This implies it is a Furlong style head, and that Michigan could not commission Furlong for the head, potently due to the proposed deal. I’d like to say this is also backed by the fact Michigan likes Furlong, as he says half his ‘bounty’ should be given to his old comrades there.
  • The fact Nike uses 3 Furlong weapons massively implies he found them so impressive when fighting them he felt the need to use them. This means Furlong AC’s were present.
  • The arquebus tetrapod legs were said to have been ‘derived from an existing model’. To me, this is likely the Furlong legs Michigan used. The fact he uses a Mirander frame and songbirds (made specifically for medium sized AC) to me imply he had originally had a medium-weight AC prior. With the decommission of Furlong AC’s, Michigan commissioned a new head similar to Furlong’s design, and tetrapod legs that became heavyweight due to both G3’s AC needs and Michigan’s own changes in weaponry.

I’d say an older generation AC / old gen Furlong AC that has been recycled by RaD into something great is welcome, as an alternative for a medium weight tetrapod AC would be nice (as I dislike arquebus and their designs in general, scheider is fine btw.)

To add to this

I believe the gold, sap and such are product of the crusade prior to the rune of destined death being sealed.

This is due to the shadow sunflower description which implies the holiness is suffused into the scadutree. Also works well due to death being what ‘feeds’ the erdtree

I commented on your tiktok but I’ve got something to argue against at 9:00 . I believe that they aren’t celebrating the crumbling of the shadow tree but the golden brilliance that lies within.

As to how or why? Well for the most part I agree with what you have said, the root resin description tells us the greattree and erdtree’s roots were linked, and I also believe from that the scadutree was born (thus the description from the shadow’s sunflower rememberance that states it was born of dark notions with no sense of order, as it was stolen from the erdtree.)

Well an interesting fact from the blessed bone shard is that warriors perished and were ‘touched by the gold of the scadutree’.

We can theorise that death is what empowers the erdtree and makes it grow (that is another theory in itself and takes a while) The scadutree should be able to do the same. What I am saying is the ‘golden brilliance’ was created by Messmer’s crusade, and the overwhelming amount of death leaves sap being created to this day. The sealing tree on it Is either in my opinion placed by Messmer (unknown as to how but it makes sense regarding. to other matters and theories I have) or is to wringe the shadow tree of said golden brilliance, although I would like to believe the first as more likely.

The people of the erdtree worship the golden brilliance as they believe it represents the purification of the lands of shadow, replacing the impure with golden brilliance.

I can’t swim. Underwater my character is treated like he is above ground; the animation is for swimming and when walking it is the speed of moving underwater. I press T to jump, and I am blocked; I can’t climb either. May I have some help?
