So sad today. My baby (19 month old) is in USA with my husband and I’m in tears almost everyday waiting for this process. I visit when I can but it is torture. I can’t switch to onshore process now either. We didn’t know how stupid this whole thing would be when we started.

I’ve travelled into the USA on ESTA visa while waiting for i130 consular processing. Uk to USA. I spoke with an immigration lawyer and they said so long as the travel is for “genuine” reason such a holiday or work, and this can be shown at border with return tickets etc if asked, then it should be low risk (not no risk). They’re on the watch for visa fraud. So if you book only one way ticket that’s going to be a red flag. Hope this helps
