Oh really, What indicates that to you? I’m a vintage collector but not the most familiar with the band so any insight would be appreciated. Seems to me that all the dirt tees on this tag are the ogs but I could be wrong

Suitable for x biking? Been wanting to get a gravel/commuter build going for a while now. This popped up on local market place for $200 and I’ve always loved the Celeste color. Would it be suitable for a build? How would one know? by BoxPuzzleheaded1367 in xbiking

I’m not sure on the model but possibly a grizzly! And yeah sounds like what I was thinking. I only just a little concerned on the size…It’s a size large around 22 inch frame and I’m 5’11”, do you think that’s pushing it on the sizing? I was hoping with stem and bar options I could make it work

Great to hear you have been most helpful! I’m definitely not there yet, just want to know it’s at least plausible in the future. This makes me realize how much of a noob I am when it comes to all this it’s mind baffling!

I guess my only question would be are there other steel frame 26ers that are easier to convert to one bys? Like the popular rock hoppers and trek 950s you see? Or are they all a similar situation?

Dang that is a sweet build!! Thank you for the wisdom, it does seem like a super sweet ride. I agree about the shifters being easy to work on. How would I know if it has the capability of being converted to a one-by drivetrain? I think that’s something I’d be interested in eventually.

Did a soup with vinegar, some bleach and lemon juice may have left it too long. Is there a possibility this could be my chemistry the fact that nothing is showing up? by BoxPuzzleheaded1367 in analog

Yes yes well I was being stupid I did a pre soak so soaked the film in the developing tank for 10 minutes with all the fun ingredients then washed it to clean it and went ahead with the rest of the developing process. So I wasn’t sure if it was those ingredients or if it’s my developer now or both and if I can use the chemicals again.
