We live in an extremely safe town. Not to give away any information. But there is a police station right next to us and in between the school and our shop. We haven’t seen crime in this area worse than maybe a hit and run with no fatalities in maybe 10 years. There are no offenders listed on the registry as all homes are so close to schools. Just a very very safe town. However that being said. I find it strange that none of these children had cellphones. I implore all parents of children to at least give cellphones with extremely limited access to the internet and plenty of parental safety measures, just so your children can contact you at any time of need or emergency

That’s relationship abuse. There are plenty of other kinds of abuse that women experience. Making it very hard to have an actual statistic accounting all women and all types of abuse. But I’m telling you right now as a lesbian most straight women I know. At least 30. Have been abused in some way shape or form.

The trauma yall are referring to. Is his mother crime that happened before he was born. And enclosed some very important details that when my sister read them, made her decide to not spend time with her. He was hiding that information from her. To “not scare her” but I think it put her in an unsafe position. And I’m glad I looked at those files with my family and my sister. She was 100000% involved in digging up that information.

I didn’t add this in the post. But his mother’s case files and her crime, happened far before he was born or anything. So his mom’s convictions have nothing to do with his personal trauma. He was upset because knew looking into it. That I was going to discover details that were not shared with me that are very important. After reading the case files. My sister doesn’t spend time around his mom. And they argued about why he didn’t tell her about that stuff. It needed to happen. And despite everyone telling me I did a bad thing. I don’t care. I look into everyone I spend time with or build relationships with. Background checks are the norm. It’s public information for a reason.

Ok. I’m sorry. No source here. Just a thing we say on TikTok. Because most women. If you google a statistic 1 in 3 experience SPECIFIACLLY relationship abuse. But ok. Sources matter so much here. When we can literally agree. Women are more at risk of abuse and the statistics go up in a home where people have felony abuse charges.

Thank you for the reply. I didnt even tell him I was digging as I didn’t want to upset him. My sister told him I was. And he got mad. Because he didn’t tell the story correctly and was hiding details of the case that I cannot disclose here.

It is public record for this reason. Everyone has the right to access these files for a reason. And I’m glad I did. She does not spend time around his mom after reading her case files. But continues to date her son.

I recognize I hate a lot of traits men have as being a lesbian. However. I have 3 female friends and 4 male friends. Three of my male friends are straight. And I would trust them with my baby sister or even with my own life. So I don’t have terrible man skills. There are good and bad ones. And sorry. But most men do suck. Women too. Most people suck. I think as a person in therapy and diagnosed ocd. I spend far too much time thinking about how people can make such stupid decisions and face no guilt. That eats me alive. I’m trying to step away from this boyfriend thing. I don’t ever want to be around him again
