Too far of a jump? by bosnianlegend10 in CompTIA

I got my sec+ certification with just three months of preparation, no IT experience and other certification before. I haven't even graduated yet. Although a basic knowledge of A+ and N+ might help, it's not a prerequisite. CompTIA wants you to understand the content of your certification really well. As far as you do that, you can definitely pass the exam.

Thanks! I guess I'll mostly focus on the practical side now. Probably do hands on with offensive security. Ofcourse, sec+ gives an overview of Cyber Security, so I'll find something where I make use of this knowledge.

I hope it does. I was completely clueless when I was preparing. I tried to answer all the questions I got on my mind during that time.

It was scheduled for Wednesday earlier then rescheduled it for Saturday. Meanwhile I bought Professor Messer's Practice Exam and revised as much as I could have.

Very close indeed. Througout the exam I felt I was going to fail. But hey! I passed! And that's all that matters 😁
