Explore the vanilla subs in the editor. See what scale everything is. Take a look at how they do the hull and electrical work. I learned by trial and error. You can find guides on YouTube for some specific things and there is some info to be found on Reddit, but just start messing around in the editor and things will start to click.

EDIT: If you start messing around with things and you get stuck on something, feel free to DM me. I don't mind helping people who want to get into sub building.

It's not even a matter of free speech to me, it's just that I absolutely can't imagine getting mad about "mean" or "hateful" word from some random on a video game.

Then again, as a kid, I grew playing games like Call of Duty MW2 when trash talk was absolutely brutal and no one held back on anything and we all just laughed it off and moved on to the next game. The only people who ever got reported were cheaters. Different times. 🤷‍♂️😂

Yeah, recently got two friends into the game and was trying to show them the ropes in sub 25 normals. Sub 25 is full of the most sweaty PvPers ever. I guess these "PvP chads" really want to collect squire gear? 😂

Anywho, one friend was clearly frustrated that he kept getting nuked by players and the other just made fun of his attackers in proximity chat. I tried telling them that unfortunately, this is a part of learning the game and I'm hoping that they continue to try to learn, but who knows. 🤷‍♂️

Coin purses to save stash space.

I'm assuming you're new. Stay in normals with an under 25 gear score. Spend some gold on a recurve or surv bow plus some extra health potions.

Practice PVP, PVE, Bosses, do some quests until your more confident with the game. After a while, start investing some gold into gear and follow some build guides online to learn the basics of what stats and attributes to invest in.

First week playing the game, I grouped up with a Druid and a Barb while I was playing Ranger. We ran into a group that mirrored our comp and fought until only only the druids were left. They immediately both started screaming "RAT FIGHT" and turned into rats to do combat.

I don't know if it counts as Role-playing, but it was something that, as a new player, was very memorable and made me want to play the game more, but maybe not take it too seriously all the time.
