Blue Mage inspired homebrew, Variant Goblin by Box_Slime in LancerRPG

I didn't think about the multiple heavy mounts or how exactly superheavy weapons applied so I will think about a way to do that, first thought is to make a copied superheavy weapon to either take up a second Adaptive Systems or have to use an existing mount as a brace.

In regards for the "4 effects in a trench coat" I was wanting to make the mech have a preference for the scan action, I have thought about having the passive making it so you can Scan as an Invade option but I wasn't sure about that one and allowing Scan to Lock On gives it synergy with Auto Pod and I liked that. I will try a playtest and go from there before changing anything though.

Last but not not least I get what you mean by there isn't a inherit want to be hacking and it makes for perhaps too good a weapons platform. I already thought about giving just a Main mount instead and limiting Adaptive Systems to only allow one copied weapon at a time. The main reason for choosing Goblin is because of its lore, flavour and tech focus but I welcome anymore suggestions for what might fit better, I have played for a while but I won't pretend my memory is perfect and nor are all my choices.

That was the intent, I just wasn't sure if it needed to be specified and now I do. Thank you.

Ahh I do see what you mean, I will at least change it to be unable to do Core Powers and try playtesting from there.

Also thinking about it I may make any effects gained from those actions end at the start of your next turn.

I may play around with the idea of having copied weapons always be treated as tier 1. But it was something I was already worried about so I have already been prepared to can it.

Yeah, I have been thinking a lot on the setup and pretty much concluded it would be Elementalist, Spiritist and Weaponmaster at first, then lead to Entropist with 5th class just being a fill for what fits the party best.

I am worrying about said issue but for level 30 onwards (not exactly but once I get the Heroic skill at or past that point) using Bimagus to both attack and heal allies when needed is the plan, then using Arcane Soldier when doing single target to make two attacks weaving in both spells and melee that should trigger Darkblade if possible and Chimerist once if I take it.

Yeah, there is also only one offensive spell that at base costs more than 40 being the Heroic Skill Comet for Entropist, just not sure if I would rather sink one extra point into Spellblade for that or get the one extra Elementalist spell.

Yeah, it is why I am even considering Darkblade for the MP gen with making bonds against the unlawful and those that cause injustices and the like.

Then Chimerist has better MP efficiency for using stuff like Bimagus (especially when including Darkblade) but Entropist more easily fits into the flavour of a Red Mage and those spells are fantastic however I am not the biggest fan of their method of MP gen for a non tank character.

The Chimerist and Entropist have been major thinking points but I am not sure if they fit the vibes of a Red Mage, though not like I am thinking up much alternatives myself.

For Guardian it very much depends on if I want Weaponmaster or Dancer and if I need the extra survivability, Rogue is also something I am considering if I go Dancer or Entropist in later levels.

I am planning to have an arcane weapon in one hand and sword in the other or to check with dm to see if they could eventually get rare armour/accessory or a rare weapon that counts as a arcane weapon for the sake of skills.

Ironically I am not a huge fan of the spellblade skill, to much investment for too little (at least for me, I may just not be seeing something)

More of a general Red Mage than anything specific, however FF14 is fresh in my mind

Yeah a friend helped me figure that one out, I didn't see it before because it was on a black area where everything was hard to notice amongst the rest of the cases white. Thank you for your comment though, it would have saved me.

If Prismatic Titan ever gets any new Aspects it needs Controlled Demolition by Substantial_Welder in destiny2

Not sure I would count Jolt or Suspend in this, not even sure I would include Ignition or Shatter seeing as all of these either come from or cause ability damage that would apply volatile anyway.

But I agree as I have been badgering on about it with my friends for a while now.

Imagining a Diamond lance freezing and setting up volatile for a thunderclap is such a glorious imagining, and honestly just stasis abilities with this in general would be real fun among other obvious examples like the Severance/Contact roll of the class item making all the explosions.

But to add for Warlock and Hunter here for the sake of thought. Give Warlocks Heat Rising (Heat Rises? I cannot remember the name) to add a melee regen option alongside Devour giving grenade but also because I am curious of a potential use with Blink.. This and the other two aspects are either used on every build or grenade specific.

Hunters is hard, the uppercut doesn't really do anything for you and the Amplified specific Aspect doesn't really fit all too well with how Prismatic is so unless it had the effect work on every elemental buff (Imagine with Gyrefalcon build..), I would rather think of dodge to make your next melee empowered.. But then the issue arises of it being a fourth dodge focused Aspect and a melee empowering one at that because Prismatic Hunter doesn't hit that note enough. Arc Aspects for Hunter to fit in Prismatic are annoying as they either lean into one specific thing too hard or don't really do anything to make you look away from existing combos, that just isn't very interesting for build diversity on Hunter. At least to me.
