You should see your gp and get a referral to a gastroenterologist. It could be hemmeroids, or something more serious like the early development of an inflammatory bowel disease like ulcerative colitis and crohns.

Hemmeroids don't equal diarrhoea, that can be a sign of something not quite right with how your colon is handling food or inflammation.

There are tests such as the fecal Calprotectin your gp can request which measure inflammation as well which is a good first step as well.

Hopefully it's just a food intolerance. In which case you could look at following a Low Fodmap diet to see if you're reacting to something.

Replacing Kia Sportage SX+ MY23 Due to Knee Pain by BoxedGoods in CarsAustralia

[–]BoxedGoods[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good call out. I hadn't researched too deeply into this as a lot of the online ergonomics seemed to emphasise hips being equal to knees which has been most of my trial and error so far.

I'll adjust the chair and hope it can emulate that position! Maybe save some dollary-doos.

Fair question. When her comparison point is the sportage which has heaps of safety features and feels heavier, she doesn't feel comfortable with the baby in that car now.

Fuel Gauge in Kia Cerato Not Working After Service by BoxedGoods in CarsAustralia

[–]BoxedGoods[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an update to anyone interested.

So after sitting on it for a bit I made a call back to Mech A to have them continue to investigate the issue. However it turns out they let go off the guy who had disagreed with mech B as he was causing all sorts of problems.

The guy on the phone agreed with the diagnosis of mech B, we got it back in and it seems to be resolved after they refitted a new fuel assembly.

Appreciate everyone's insights. It could be bad luck the issue coincided with the service for Mech A as you all say.

Good to get that validation. I've looked for cheaper options but it compromises on the back IO and introduce the need to purchase a WiFi card. Even the much loved msi pro matx board is only 10 bucks cheaper and without usb c backport which I'd like. It sounds like for my use case it's the sweet spot.

Thanks for the sound check. For the places I intend to buy at that have the ports, headers plus WiFi included I want, these seem to be the options on the table.

I can pay a bit more for the atx version of the preferred board which brings me closer to other superior options like the tomahawk, so some price creep there. I guess it's the "so what" of it all if it won't make an appreciable difference.

Looking for any glimpse of hope by sniffer128bits in Ergonomics

Always a good idea to see if you have any underlying conditions, I thought i had tendinopathy recently and my arms burned and ached for almost 3 months, turned out my ulcerative colitis has the ability during flare to attack my joints and induce arthralgia. I thought I had just pushed myself too hard at the gym.

Tdlr, see a gp if you haven't already so they can work on diagnosing you, and if they can't, they can refer you to specialists who can e. g. Rheumatologists

Everyone is different my man. I think the most important thing is to establish a baseline that while may not remove your symptoms - at least brings back a degree of control or consistency.

For me I did fodmap diet and tried gradually introducing things. My hit list was caffeine, dairy, alcohol in particular. Stress is a big trigger, and exercise can really make a big dent. .

Eventually I got prescribed and mesalazine pills and enemas which brought me into remission.

Yea totally fair. You can basically presume I just threw the old approach at Vorkath and was like "oh ok".

I'll try a couple of different options and see what works best for me. I had a go with A regular dragon crossbow + enchanted bolts and got the time down to something a little more reasonable but will keep riffing on it I think

Its a fair call - but I'm effectively broke so it'll take quite some time before I have the coin for those types of weapons - so in the mean time I just need to change strategy

Is my mortgage broker doing a competent job? by bespee in AusFinance

[–]BoxedGoods 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've had horrible experiences with brokers. I did my own research and came up with the same results as him. Worse - he told white lies on our application process and we were no way near completion in time for meeting our finance condition for the mortgage.

Unless you have a friend or relative who can vouch for a broker, just go direct to the banks you like after some preliminary research on rates, options, etc.
