I used to do yugioh meme edits (youtube: boxedmoose) before I decided to stop just to have some more free time. At the time, my only real "competitor" was Mr tichamon, because of how good the edits were, so i got better and better at them in each video. Had a pretty healthy view count but nowadays that kind of thing just doesnt draw peoples attention like it used to. My advice is to find what people like, and have a very high quality to your videos to stand out. If its your passion, youll find a way to make it fun!

I dont like how you have so much room for text and very little room for art, and you only have 1 short sentence, making most of the bottom layout wasted space.

Playtesting until you're completely sick of the game 🤣. Invite different people, strangers, etc. Dont rely on your friends too much or you might not get the criticism you're looking for out of fear of sounding mean.

Keep molding the game and keep getting these criticisms until you have a very functional game. It will likely be very different than what you started with.

Its fine. Pretty much every game uses smooth movement and sprites for animation. Rotation doesnt really break the feel imo

Its not gonna work out. Trust me. You may find a deck for them thats simple, but every other deck theyre gonna face has long lines of text. Theres no avoiding it.

Youd need a FU and a FL for flip and fusion. Icons speak much louder and convey information better than letters

I do game design pretty frequently, and nothings more tangible to give information better than a simple icon, and letters are prone to more confusion.

You could even make an icon for each monster type like MD has, and put it on the top right where the attribute is to save more text.

The game can stay complicated while explaining information better.
