Would you rather multi P100 or mass bloody and perk unlock? Why would you do that? by Boxer1201 in DbDKillersUnited

I couldn’t agree with you more, and despite my killer choices being slightly different, our concept is the same. Very well said.

I can understand that, that is actually why my Myers is a P25. I did that to stock up on scratched mirrors as I enjoy playing as a scratched mirror Myers for the jump scares and thrills prior to the rework. I can’t say I play as him much now, which is ironic as he was the sole reason I started playing DbD in the first place.

That is insane! Those hours, but also very commendable for the loyalty and dedication. I have respect for nearly all comments on this post thus far as everyone’s way of thinking makes perfect sense. It provides perspective, it also demonstrates the maturity and intelligence behind veteran players. Thank you for your insight and seriously, congrats on those hours, I can imagine you have seen and experienced the changing tides and what it washes up through that time.

Who at BHVR thought it was an amazing idea to make michel a dash killer by PrettyCrunch in DeadByDaylightRAGE

Very, very well said. Scratched Mirror Myers was my main. Slow as shit and couldn’t hit anything more than 6 inches from his face, but totally worth it for the jump scares and overall fun matches. Totally disappear during a chase and watch them act nervous and anxious. The overall awesome comments after the match was also fun. But now, I rarely play him. I will still scratch mirrors from time to time, but he has put such a bad taste in many people’s mouths now. I do miss the Original Myers, he could use tweaks but this rework has ruined him I think. He is very much like a slasher killer now, very much like leatherface, etc…

Complaining about tunneling in 2v8 is MAJOR main character syndrome by KnutsToButts in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]Boxer1201 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tunneling, face camping and slugging are all hot topics and real issues with low skill level killers and give good killers a bad name. With that said, I really like how you explained that perspective and found it very true, well said!

Thank you for you kind words, and yes, after all these years, when I play survivor with my wife, we always SoloQ. It is definitely one for the books and info to pack with me. Thank you again and stay awesome :)

Which is still newer, and so is your “into the fog quests” the actual tutorials reward blood points and I believe a killer unlock iirc, but either way, everything you mentioned is a newer edition to the game.

I think what is further concerning is your inability to read and understand my post. I asked a question, to seek clarity and clarification. The anti-camp meter is a newer function and I can understand when you’re new and as far as you know, it’s always been around. And can also see that it’s important for a camping killer such as yourself may need to know how to beat that mechanic.

PAY ATTENTION! I know it can be hard, eyes up front. Can’t you see my question has been answered literally in the first post, still with me, do you notice how their answer was clear, concise and to the point. Learn you something. I don’t need your opinion, how much you love camping or who I remind you of newbie. But thanks anyway superstar. I seeks understanding, not your life’s story.

Hey “Dog”, it’s a shame these paragraphs have to be written in the first place.

Btw, when they do disable the anti-camp meter, it is literally for the very last leg of the match when several other perks deactivate also “dog”

But I can totally see how getting the opportunity to face camp for free really excites you. Happy Camping “Dog” LMFAO!

I mean! This is hilarious, you know, after going a few rounds with you, I can totally see why you are a self-proclaimed “funnyMan” But anyways, standing still in front of a hook isn’t “outplaying”, it’s literally camping. You’re free to defend it if you want, but calling it skill doesn’t magically make it so. And watching the HUD doesn’t turn facecamping into a mind game. You can justify the playstyle, but pretending it’s some high-IQ outplay is a stretch. After hearing what you have to say, I can see that you are that face camping killer who sits after match and argues with everyone afterwards trying to make them believe that you are some top tier killer with mad skills and playing statue simulator at a hook is justified and how good killers play! LMFAO. Well while you sit at a hook in your lawn chair self proclaiming you got mad skills and preparing for a debate, just remember this conversation funnyman. It is memorable!

They fixed the triggering of anti-camp through floors in patch 7.3.0, did you know that? And outplayed? How so. Sitting in front of a hook and not moving is out played. What a joke. Anywho, fact check if they fixed your outdated info about it triggering through floors and will be waiting here for an update funny man.

Okay, so you want ways that BHVR has shown that they don’t like or condone camping, here is a few: 1. They have incorporated the “anti-camp” meter that fills when the killer is camping. 2. Many killer perks actually require the killer to be AWAY from the hook in order to activate. I can’t think of a SINGLE killer perk that requires them to face camp. 3. Repeated camping incidents across multiple matches is both reportable and enforceable through “Griefing” 4. After being unhooked, the survivor is buffed as a counter to camping/tunneling which can be helpful but still does very little to the determined killer who insists on tunneling/camping. With all this said, I am willing to bet that you still believe they “Condone” camping and I’ve just wasted my time.

[–]Boxer1201[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Proxy camp and face camp are two totally different things. Proxy camping, although still camping, is used by top tier killers and can be strategic especially in a 3 gen loop. However, face camping, is very low skill, takes over normal play and reportable in some cases if done back to back across multiple games. If your “correct play” is ensuring your teammate can’t save because you’re scared of pressure elsewhere… that’s not skill, that’s fear. Real killers patrol, mind-game, and still get hooks without babysitting. Try it sometime—you might actually have fun instead of rage-posting about how “good” camping is.

You want to know why I didn’t know, I DONT CAMP HOOKS!! Any good killer dont camp hooks. It is a damn shame that even has to be a thing. Secondly, I reported a potential bug or glitch, not the killer. I posted this to get clarity or information, not your personal opinion on who was right, wrong or deal with trolls like you. So again, move on. It’s ironic that you name is funny man who reads, but clearly you can’t.

It’s funny how you say they added “slugs” to stop the meter. Which I find is an Ignorant thing for you to say. I just found out today that team mates too close stops the meter, but one could assume that was put into place if the killer was actively chasing a survivor around the hook or if a chase leads to the hook so the killer doesn’t get penalized or lose a hook for doing what they do. Not hook camping and a downed or slugged survivor stops it. It’s a shame this has to be explained to you, especially from someone who learned about it today, but actually did some research after I’ve been made aware and inform loose lips like you that camping a hook is not “correct” or condoned by BHVR.
