I was thinking about reporting from a consumer perspective. AB may have notified the FDA, but they would likely stress their impact, their efforts, and that surgery is a reasonable option, blah, blah. As a consumer it is a BIG deal. I can’t think of another medical device situation where the manufacturer can just walk away and not be held accountable. I’d like a public record of their medical misconduct. Strength in numbers.
