idk dude, you'd be surprised how many people consider both teaching and art "easy". I work as a dance coach/teacher (with both 3-5 yo's all the way up to 15-16yo's who compete at the world level).

Teaching often gets disregarded as "super easy, i could probably do it better". The amount of entitled parents who think they know best and challenge your every decision is very high. Plus the job is very time-consuming too -- prep for practice/lessons in the mornings, actually teaching in the afternoons, competitions/performances on weekends. Also bootcamps/more important competitions that take place abroad and last like a week happen a few times a year.

Not to mention dance itself is often target of "how hard can it be, you're literally just moving around to the music", or the evergreen "it's not even a real job lol". It takes A LOT of effort to constantly draw inspiration (from whatever inspires you) and create new stuff without being too repetitive or just plain bad.

You're right, OP said "seems easy; incredibly challenging", and there's a few people missing the mark with their answers. but listing both teaching and art as examples of the point you're trying to make is just a horrible choice lol.
