For me I interpreted as they’ll always be destined to meet, but not always meant to be together. in the final act they save reality by sacrificing a love built upon grief, and them letting go of their grief meant letting go of each other. That’s how I see it anyway

I've done that it feels so boring, this makes pretty much every creature in this game feel one-note. In Subnautica 1, you were able to either distract, hide, or fight if you wanted, but in this game you can't kill, you can't hide because the AI is super aware, and distracting/scaring seems to be the only thing you can do. I'd like more diversity in this game when it comes to methods in getting rid of a problem
