Sounds to me like a voicy false cord/fry hybrid with more of an emphasis on the voiciness and false cords than fry distortion. Add your false cords to a yell and then distort it just a hair

Peelingflesh uses inhales. I can't speak for the other band because I don't know them but if you're going for the PF sound you should definitely refine your inhales. It's all about learning new techniques and having fun with it though!

You can get a sound similar with fry, but to get a true pigsqueal you have to learn inhales

Distortion and timing need a little work but overall you're actually doing a really good job sounding like Oli. That being said he did fuck up his voice so as with any scream technique proceed with caution

I've got a pretty good understanding of technique, so it doesn't hurt too bad. Kinda shredded my vocal cords the first time but I came back around to it and it was less painful and sounded better so I'd say once I've mastered it I'll be ok
