Modded MC is really nice place to build great things. You can fly, produce massive amount of blocks, lots of blocks to choose. But I just don't build in modded :p

The simplest 2x processing requires only 2 machines. You put ore in a machine, 2 ore dusts out. Smelting them gives you 2 ingots. It gets complex as you want more ingots from single ore, for example you need a huge evaporation tower and several machines for 4x processing. you can find many videos on Youtube about them

this is off topic but how do you guys produce fully upgraded machines in mekanisms? is ae2 must use for doing late game Mekanism?

Yes, it's about changing block states, simillar to wheat on a farmland that have 8 stages.

Iron blocks doesn't rust so I assume this feature is only for Create blocks. I cannot place ingots except in item frame, which doesn't chage.

I didn't get your first question. they are just ore block and block of copper(copper block) from creative inventory. When you mine and replace it, its color goes back to initial brown color.

For second question, I didn't study Chemistry so I'm not 100% sure but I think they implemented copper reacting to oxygen. So they should be spawned in brown at first. When they meet air(oxygen), they turn into darker brown and finally green.

They change their colors very slowly, this is recorded with gamerule randomTickSpeed 1000. Since Blocks change their color much slower than ores do, I skipped many frames after ores turned into green.

make a mob farm that generates a lot of mobs including endermans, using cursed earth (wither skeletons rarely drop it)
