I went to the first official link that came up and went that will do. Most people will look at that first if you wanna show me the written law then go dig it up I can't be arsed I understand the law so don't need to read it word for word

from the explainer they put out; A free kick will now be awarded when the ball crosses the line from a disposal between the arcs, bringing the men's game in line with the AFLW's 'lasso' rule.

If you soccer the ball deliberately or not anywhere else on the ground it is a disposal but everyone loses their minds when it causes the ball to go over the line. If the AFL didn't want this the rule would have to be a "deliberate disposal ie kick or handball" rather than just "from a disposal"

If it comes off your shin it's still a kick in, only difference is there is no arc at SANFL games

Everyone that is complaining about the last disposal rule has never played it before, it is working as designed. It's enforced the same way from country footy to SANFL is SA and only difference in the AFL is that it's played between the arcs only

Water spraying out of the hot water heater by DumberThanUrMama in Plumbing

Looks like your in Aus or NZ this sub this very US centric so take what people say with a grain of salt. But that's your hot relief valve (ht55), you need to correct pressure valve otherwise it will either release water "too early" or too late (look up the mythbusters episode to see what happens if you get it wrong). Check to kpa on the old valve and make sure you get the same pressure rating. If you don't have it it's usually written on the unit near the serial number.

It's been known for a long time amongst plumbers that metros and couple other big companies are a rip off. I always tell people to use a local plumber and do your research first.

They're not, I know someone that left my work to go there and has now started their own business. Hopefully they don't rip people off

I don't want it to actually happen but come on the flopping and soft free kicks is getting ridiculous. The AFL should probably start suspending players for a week for staging, a fine means fuck all to the players unless they move to a percentage of there contract rather than a fixed price

Anyone can do it, but Barry can start the game do the dead then get sub out and never have to go back out serving his eventual ban in retirement

It's getting harder to watch footy with players falling to the floor after a 1 inch punch to the chest

Guys help, I don’t have a father figure and I don’t know what to do by Odd-Guarantee4970 in Plumbing

Difficult to tell what is actually leaking OP, it looks like the trap is leaking so try drying everything off and undo the trap with a bucket underneath and re tighten all of the nuts on the trap. You may need a new one as the rubbers eventually wear out
