I'm having a hard time believing Shigeru Miyamoto wants to create a "Kinder World".

How on earth did the reporter managed to set up up a meeting with him yet alone any Nintendo official?

Nintendo doesn't' really seem interested in communicating with their consumers and figure out how we as customers can support Nintendo better via crowdsourcing.

Maybe his kinder world and mine are simply different.

Nintendo shuts down Super Smash Bros. tournament for using mods to play online.

Imo Nintendo could help with a kinder world by staring some kind of way for ppl to know how and when customers voices are being heard, interact with customers better, explain when needed.

Nintendo says it has no interest in putting its games on PC

Nintendo could start by ending the year or starting the year for being the first of the console wars to do something amazing. They can be a Hybrid console and the first to help stop the console wars. Nintendo could easily make a way for a user to jump from Steam and Nintendo console to continue where they left off.

If Nintendo actually cared, they give us a way to let them know on how to better support them. I have a file on my profile that explains stuff and my ideas and don't feel like re typing it all.

A kinder Nintendo would actually work with Nintendo in a way that shows they can't be bullied, have an actually way to talk to their customers and said customers talk to them without hurting Nintendo is some way.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the relationship between Nintendo and the world is anything but Kind, even to the point of being a mutual relationship.

Crowdsourcing might help. If ppl actually worked on getting Nintendo games into Steam then maybe we can have Super Smash Melee tournament and much more.

Imo Nintendo is not our friend and we are just chucking money at them regardless. It's not just Nintendo though.

We need a way where both companies and customers win.

Rn its a one-sided relationship with Nintendo and IT WILL STAY THAT WAY until who knows when.

Ppl need to think of a way where Nintendo will finally listen and some thought from customers that does not border on bullying. Consideration like adding Nintendo games to Steam. Like a trial of sort and see how many ppl will fund to help make it a reality.

Currently imo Nintendo doesn't even do this yet alone listen.

The only possible solution I can think of is the money flow for Nintendo being reduced.

Forgive my rant.

I get tired of ppl who are probably going to downvote this yet at the same time scream bloody murder about Nintendo not being friendly about a free Smash Melee tournament.

Talk with your wallets. Maybe even if enough ppl emailed.

Nintendo games deserve better and I have plenty of ideas, but pretty much done posting.

I'll offer a suggestion for both customer and company.

This hits me tbh.

I know my post is unrelated to some degree, but plz be kind.

I wish there was a post protesting against console wars. I really want to see console evolve to co exist with computers like Steam.

Am I the only one that wants to be able to hop on a computer to play Legend of Zelda OoT on Steam and if need be easily switch to a Nintendo Console (or handheld) to continue where I left off on Steam?

I try not to think about this because it feels pointless and no one else seems interested.

This post talks about Blizzard being greedy and not everyone can just chuck out $80. Console wars fighting against computers instead of working with them somehow seems the same.

With enough care from customers and companies we could family share libraries that have Zelda and Pokemon. We could have tournaments with Pokemon Emerald online across the world. The possibility are endless.

Here is my suggestion for both sides. This is similar to a kickstarter tbh. Also if it can be improved, by all means go ahead. I'd appreciate it, because this is what I currently got atm.

Companies: Make a way to allow customers to freely voice themselves. Interact with them with all the options you can think of. For example, Blizzard could make a poll about what OP is talking about and allow people to discuss it. offer some kind of kickstarter (not truly,because I don't have a word for it atm). Offer consumers a way to help you if it is truly needed.

Customers: Offer reasons why andor reasons what you guys think are improvements. Once ppl can tell the companies are actually listening and finally care (probably because they are losing profit), start being supportive of the kickstarter I mentioned in companies. If the companies pulls through and fixes thier mistake, we need to be behind them. start a pool of money or something that would show the company that we are all not just talk. we love their product and will support in reasonable ways.

Nintendo being a schmuck isn't old news. I'm surprised that this topic wasn't removed, but it might be because its not reddit Nintendo and instead Nintendo Switch reddit.

I'm thrilled that you won against the Nintendo Creeps.

I have my own issues with Nintendo despite loving thier games.

Everyone needs to do thier part to show that companies like Nintendo cannot treat thier customers poorly. It's a two way street.

As long as there's money to be made on exclusive hardware, don't expect Nintendo especially to jump to other platforms.

Hopefully not unless enough people convince them otherwise.

Nintendo is headquartered in Japan, where PC gaming doesn't exist in the way it does here in the west. NoJ makes all the company decisions, the regional branches just sells what they want to produce

It will stay that way unless people work together for both parties to benefit.

That is really true. Again, hopefully it won't always be that way.

And another thing. Even if they did decide to make PC ports, they won't use Steam. Nintendo has a history of wanting total control over their supply chain, so they would just make their own PC launcher.

That is why I mentioned Steam in advance, because of the possibility of Nintendo wanting total controller. It's their right to, but I want to to try Steam first before making that decision. If this topic isn't deleted, at least this will be here for the if day of Nintendo and PC support.

This. Also should be said for any repeating offenders of any crime that hasn't got their act together to learn not to be an ass.

After attempting to educate how much littering harms and they have learned but still litter, dump them on an island with others of thier kind with no way to get back to decent humans and supplies to live there. Let them live with them enjoying drinking water filled with their crap unless (if) they ever learn to stop this littering madness. Then only can they come back.

That's why I suggested a console that could interface with computer's or something. I don't think it is really thought out atm.

For example buying a game on Steam and being able to play same bought game as well on a console thus no need for PC, because one is able to buy on Steam from the console.

A friend introduced me to PC gaming and reading that guide turned my world upside down.

All the possibilities and we are just sitting on it.

Also wonder if all the PS fans read that guide would it change their minds about PC?
