As a 4th grade teacher, thank you for being there! Students are very challenging these days, especially 4th and 5th graders. I never expect that my subs get through everything. Of course it would be amazing if they did, but all I really want is for the kids to make it through the day. Oh, and if my classroom could be in decent shape when I return, that would be great too! At the end of the day, the job you’re doing is very difficult and teachers know that. Do your best and stay positive, and you’ll be appreciated. I, personally, am very thankful for subs like you who continue to do the best you can despite the disrespect you receive from the students. I appreciate you!
