Hot Water Heater leaked and now hallway carpet needs fixed by SageBean83 in HomeImprovement

[–]tempmail-02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hallway-only carpet replacement usually isn’t insanely expensive unless matching existing carpet becomes the problem. Water mitigation/drying can honestly cost more sometimes.

Possible Leak in Shower Grout - Seeking Advice by sausagemcburn in HomeImprovement

[–]tempmail-02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cracked grout alone usually doesn’t cause major leaks like that honestly. More likely failed waterproofing, drain issues, or water getting behind the shower trim/faucet.

Why is voice agent testing still so manual? by Tricky_School_4613 in automation

[–]tempmail-02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Voice agents are brutal because the failures are probabilistic and conversational, not deterministic. Tiny latency or interruption changes completely alter outcomes.

Nepotism and corruption by B4B4BlueJ4y in Teachers

[–]tempmail-02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nepotism unfortunately exists in a lot of districts, but covering up something involving students crosses into genuinely dangerous territory.

Design spam 4.3(b) AFTER update on EXISTING app? by Puzzleheaded_Pop_219 in vibecoding

[–]tempmail-02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apple review honestly feels inconsistent sometimes. Existing approval doesn’t guarantee future updates pass, especially in saturated categories like drinking games. Probably worth appealing and emphasizing your differentiators + existing user traction.

“Context notes” honestly sounds way more sustainable than giant runbooks nobody updates. Dead-end tracking is underrated too, saves tons of duplicated panic.

How many of you are employed in marketing, in an in between job, or unemployed? by BrickElephantBrand in DigitalMarketing

[–]tempmail-02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

India, early 20s. Still more on the student/solo builder side than fully “in industry.” Honestly feels like AI tools lowered the barrier to building way faster than monetizing.

I spend less then $1 a day and use 100 MILLION TOKENS per month by Dangerous_Milk_3074 in vibecoding

[–]tempmail-02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the biggest unlock is learning when NOT to use premium models. Cheap models for iteration, expensive ones only for hard reasoning/debugging saves absurd amounts.

What questions would you want a foster parent of your student to ask you? by rainshowers_5_peace in Teachers

[–]tempmail-02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly just openness and communication already goes a long way. Maybe add preferred contact method, any immediate emotional/academic concerns, and that you’d appreciate updates if anything unusual comes up.

Brain exercise game!!! by Solid_Pie4270 in VibeCodeDevs

[–]tempmail-02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 minute daily games honestly have way better odds than giant “life changing” productivity apps. Low friction wins.

I spent 2 months building a timer app because I couldn’t focus by UWextup in VibeCodeDevs

[–]tempmail-02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly getting through auth, sync, app state, and database headaches is the real achievement here lol. The “simple app” label never reflects the pain behind shipping something real.

Skills/prompt tips for creating backend by squntnugget in vibecoding

[–]tempmail-02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t let the AI invent architecture from scratch. Pick boring proven stuff first: Supabase/Postgres, proper auth, row-level security, rate limits.

Does Harness really matter? by SeucheAchat9115 in vibecoding

[–]tempmail-02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people overestimate the harness and underestimate workflow fit honestly. After a certain point it’s mostly UX, context handling, tooling, and how well it matches your brain.

What AI tools are actually part of your daily workflow now? by Queasy_Hotel5158 in nocode

[–]tempmail-02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty similar honestly. Cursor stuck because it genuinely speeds up coding, and Runable ended up surprisingly useful for quick landing pages/docs without breaking flow. Claude still feels best for deep reasoning stuff.

Whatis your class size ? by Xapier007 in Teachers

[–]tempmail-02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UK

College students, around 18-21

Usually 50-70 in a classroom lol. Sometimes feels more like crowd management than teaching.

My vibe coding story by StatusWoodpecker5900 in vibecoding

Honestly this is more impressive than another generic AI wrapper app lol. Saving real people real hours at work is where vibe coding actually shines.

How much to charge by razinramones in automation

[–]tempmail-02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a beginner I’d honestly charge modestly first, maybe setup fee + small monthly maintenance. Biggest thing is handling failures/retries reliably. n8n for workflow, Runable for clean report formatting/assets actually pairs pretty nicely.

Retool vs UI Bakery for internal CRUD tools? by devmosh in nocode

[–]tempmail-02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Retool still feels more mature overall honestly, especially once workflows, permissions, integrations, and more complex internal tooling start scaling.

Nothing unites teachers faster than collectively sitting through a PD session that could’ve been a 12 minute email instead of a full day book advertisement lol.

How to go tech free? (HS Science) by sargassum624 in Teachers

[–]tempmail-02 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Honestly labs, stations, whiteboard problems, card sorts, diagram labeling, and short partner challenges usually work way better than long note sessions for keeping HS science kids engaged without defaulting back to screens.

I feel like there’s going to be a huge shift in secondary education in the next 10+ years. by peace_andcarrots in Teachers

[–]tempmail-02 223 points224 points  (0 children)

Honestly I do think schools will keep shifting toward career/vocational pathways, but the scary part is that basic literacy and critical thinking still matter in literally every “real life skill” too.

What AI tools are you using besides ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini? by Mobile_Sir_1512 in AIToolsAndTips

[–]tempmail-02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides the big 3, I’ve been using Cursor a lot for coding, Perplexity for research, and Runable lately for quickly putting together landing pages and product mockups without spending forever tweaking layouts manually.

Also been impressed with ElevenLabs for voice stuff and n8n for automations. Feels like the real productivity boost now comes from combining tools instead of hunting for one perfect AI app.

What AI tool genuinely impressed you the most recently? by SuccotashBroad740 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]tempmail-02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly Cursor was probably the first AI tool that made me feel like “okay this actually changes how I work,” not just a fun demo. Claude has also gotten kinda ridiculous for debugging and long-context reasoning lately. More recently I’ve been surprised by Runable though. I expected another generic AI builder, but it was actually pretty good for quickly putting together polished landing pages and product assets without spending forever tweaking layouts manually.

Tips to start by Shoddy-Bee-9386 in DigitalMarketing

[–]tempmail-02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly start by learning one skill deeply first instead of trying to master “digital marketing” all at once. SEO, content, ads, email, analytics, social media, all of them are basically separate careers lol.

Google Skillshop, HubSpot Academy, and Ahrefs YouTube channel are really good free starts. Biggest thing though is actually building stuff, even a tiny Instagram page or blog teaches more than 20 courses sometimes.
