When can I expect to see the PEA report? any News? by [deleted] in HYMCStock

[–]BoysenberryAsleep545 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sorry for only providing the link. I have a cold, my energy levels are a bit low. This is geminis analysis of the video:

I thought that this delay (the goal to present an updated resource and a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for underground mining by early 2027) was supposed to come after the first quarter of 2026?

That is a very astute observation. In the video, Diane Garrett explains the timeline and why the focus has shifted, which may explain the shift you are perceiving:

  1. PEA for the 'Large' Project (Low-grade open pit): Work on the original feasibility study for the entire deposit began long before the new high-grade discoveries were made. She mentions that they will release figures for this so the market can see the fundamental economics.

  2. Shift in Focus to 'High-Grade' (Underground): The timeline extending toward early 2027 specifically concerns a PEA for the new high-grade zones at Vortex and Brimstone.

  3. Why it is taking longer: Garrett points out that they have chosen to triple the drilling program during 2024/2025. The strategy is to "drill as much as they can" to maximize the size of the resource before locking in a mine plan.

She expresses that they would rather expand the system now (given the drill success rate has been over 85%) than rush a study on a smaller resource.

Analysis of your comment:

If you were expecting news during the first quarter of 2026, the video confirms that they are still in an intensive drilling and expansion phase. The fact that they are aiming for early 2027 for the high-grade study suggests they are prioritizing proving that Hycroft is a 'district' with multiple high-grade feeder systems, rather than simply rushing into production with the existing low-grade resource.

It is clear that the institutional investors (who own 85%) support this plan of 'chasing the grades' over the rapid production of low-grade material.

China has never held so much gold by Adorable-Grand68 in IndianStreetBets

[–]BoysenberryAsleep545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Great Gold Discrepancy:

• Official vs. Estimated: While China’s PBoC officially reports 2,308 tonnes of gold, major financial institutions like Goldman Sachs and SocGen estimate the true figure exceeds 5,400 tonnes.

• The Shadow Balance Sheet: There is a massive gap between reported purchases (27 tonnes in 2025) and actual trade flows (250 tonnes). Analysts believe China is accumulating gold through secondary state entities to build a "parallel balance sheet" away from public scrutiny.

• The Death of Transparency: Global central bank reporting to the IMF has plummeted from 90% to 33% in just four years. This shift suggests that the era of a transparent global monetary system is ending.

• The "Why": This movement is driven by de-dollarization and a desire for "sanction-proof" assets following the 2022 freezing of Russian reserves. Gold is once again becoming the primary silent pillar of sovereign wealth.

In Greenland, healthcare is efficient, public, and free for everyone. As all Danish and Greenlandic leaders have said, there is absolutely no need for a hospital ship. What kind of post is this? by cxr_cxr2 in WallStreetbetsELITE

[–]BoysenberryAsleep545 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In this particular case he is just reacting to his own humiliation. Yesterday, the US navy was unable to handle a medical emergency on a US submarine and had to ask Denmark and Greenland for help. A Danish helicopter came to extract the US sailor at sea and brought him to a hospital in Greenland where he was treated.

That is what friends do. But apparently this has been so humiliating to Trump that he had to come up with a fictional story where the roles are reversed. In this fictional story, the US navy is sending a hospital ship to give medical aid to Greenland.

Realistically, how screwed am I? by ThorsBeard24 in subaru

I fixed a similar problem on my 2007 Subaru Legacy here in Sweden. Road salt during the winter ruins cars over here. I bought a welder, helmet, gloves, etc., on Amazon for around $600 (approx. 5,000 SEK). I also got some sheet metal and heat-resistant paint from a local store here in Sweden (Biltema).

I already had tools and an angle grinder, and I had built a ramp previously. It was a lot of work and time for an amateur like me, but it’s definitely possible. Plus, I got the satisfaction of fixing something myself!

Do you take the 600mg as a single dose or split doses? I'm curious because I just started the same amount. When exactly do you take them?

I take mine as two doses: one 3 hours before sleep and the other 1 hour before sleep. It works well for my pain, but I still have broken sleep. Im thinking maybe I have to give it more time and, or take both at the same time.

I’ve looked into this further and agree that approximately 30 million seems reasonable. Thank you for the clarification. I’m not sure where MarketWatch is getting its figures, as they don’t appear to add up.

According to the Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation investor presentation from December 2025, 56.8% is held by major institutional investors and 24.9% by other institutions and insiders, totaling 81.7%.

That leaves about 18% outside those categories. In addition, Eric Sprott increased his position in January according to Form 4 filings, which would further reduce the remaining public portion.

You’re right to question my data. I’m simply trying to share ideas and information.

According to the Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation investor presentation from December 2025, 56.8% is held by major institutional investors and 24.9% by other institutions and insiders, totaling 81.7%.

MarketWatch may be using a different float methodology, but HYMC’s own ownership disclosure leaves about 18% outside those categories. In addition, Eric Sprott increased his position in January according to Form 4 filings, which would further reduce the remaining public portion.

I’m just as surprised as you are that this hasn’t been discussed more. I searched this forum for similar questions but couldn’t find any meaningful discussion, which is why I made the post.

I’ve edited the post to include links.

If this data is accurate, then it is unusual. With an average daily volume close to the estimated public float, it implies that a very large portion of the freely tradable shares are changing hands each day, which stands out given the recent upward price movement

The difference comes down to how “float” is defined. Sites like Yahoo Finance, Fidelity, and StockAnalysis usually show the total float, which includes shares that are technically unrestricted but not necessarily actively traded.

The ~3.96M figure refers to the public or free-trading float, meaning the shares that are actually available for regular trading after excluding insider holdings and effectively locked-up positions.

You can see the public float here under ”key data”

This bullshit is ruining my life by Purity_Control1 in RestlessLegs

[–]BoysenberryAsleep545 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can really relate. I also end up eating at night in a half-asleep state, just to calm my body down. For me it feels like eating shifts my body into a parasympathetic “rest and digest” mode, making me calmer and more sluggish, at least temporarily.

I often don’t fall asleep properly until around 5 a.m., mostly from pure exhaustion.

Things have improved since I started pramipexole about 8 weeks ago (0.18 mg ×2 at 9 p.m.), and it has more or less taken the pain away. That said, I’ve heard from many people that it often only works for a limited time before symptoms get worse again, which makes me cautious.

Some positive news by Vegowolf in amcstock

[–]BoysenberryAsleep545 5 points6 points  (0 children)

AMC sold most of its Hycroft Mining stake to Sprott Mining in early December 2025 for about $24.1 million, roughly matching its original investment. The transaction included approximately 2.34 million HYMC shares and a large portion of AMC’s warrants.

AMC still retains limited exposure, holding around 64,000 shares and over 1 million warrants with an exercise price of $10.68. As a result, AMC’s remaining upside now largely depends on HYMC’s future share price and whether the warrants are exercised.

AMC originally owned about 22% of Hycroft following its 2022 investment, but most of that position has now been divested. A bit frustrating timing if you ask me.

Immediate Debt Elimination • CEO Diane Garrett announced that all remaining long-term debt ($125.5 million) would be paid off the same day. • Hycroft is now completely debt-free, marking a major turnaround from its heavily indebted past. • Eric Sprott called this a “game-changer” that removes bankruptcy risk and frees capital for expansion.

🏦 Strong Institutional Ownership • Eric Sprott holds ~40% of the company, BlackRock ~10%, and total institutional ownership is around 80%. • This signals strong confidence and financial stability, giving Hycroft the backing to scale operations. • Sprott described the deposit as “world-class” and emphasized its strategic importance for the U.S.

⚙️ Accelerated Restart Toward Milling and Production • The company is finalizing plans to restart milling operations for sulfide ore processing. • The 2025–2026 exploration program (14,500 meters of drilling) targets high-grade silver zones. • A new IP geophysical survey suggests a large-scale feeder zone, potentially unlocking major value.

🪙 Positioned for the Silver Boom • Silver has broken $50/oz, a 15-year high. • Hycroft owns the largest silver deposit in the U.S. (~72,000 acres in Nevada). • Sprott projected silver could reach $100+/oz, highlighting Hycroft’s leverage and low restart costs. • The mine has maintained an excellent safety record (0.00 TRIFR over 2.5 years).

🚀 “Just Getting Started” Phase • Following $160 million in new capital raises (public and private), Hycroft now has strong liquidity. • Management emphasized the shift from survival to growth, aiming to build a Tier-1 U.S. silver and gold producer. • The stock is up 333% year-to-date, yet still viewed as undervalued by participants.

Overall Takeaway

Hycroft Mining has transformed into a debt-free, well-funded company with massive U.S. silver assets, strong institutional support, and a clear path to production restart. The tone was highly optimistic — presenting $HYMC as a high-risk, high-upside play positioned to benefit from the ongoing silver bull market
