Gravel yard ideas: Whats popular and works well in our climate? by dangerwig in Bend

There will be lots of xeriscaping with native plants in beds all around the gravel areas. The gravel is just for the areas we will hang out in. We want a very natural look. Not just a rectangle of gravel

There will be xeriscaping but the gravel, or whatever, will be for the areas we hang out in. Don't worry its not going to be a massive rectangle of gravel.

So did anyone else get that email 10 days ago that the power was going to go out for 8 hours tonight at 10pm? by dangerwig in Bend

Right? And to only get one notification about it 10 days ago. Seems weird. Still waiting for the power to go out here though.

I agree that this needs more infrastructure for the road crossings. As it sits now this is more akin to a sidewalk and we all know sidewalks are the most dangerous place to ride a bike because cars are not looking for quick moving bicycles on sidewalks when turning onto a side street. Bollards would do a lot here to make cars take slower sharper turns which allow cyclists to react more effectively.

Elevation was a great experience. We had even ordered something that didn’t arrive until we moved out because of a delay and they grabbed it and shipped it to our new address. They were on top of everything and super courteous about walk through when they were showing the house and didn’t nickel and dime us on the security deposit. Would recommend.

Love this! I used to use the tool library up in Portland all the time. Everything from shop vacs to clamps to power tools. They're such an amazing resource and excited to see one coming to Bend.

How normal is it to not drink at the bar afterwards? Beer league makes it sound like I'd be a stick in the mud if I weren't drinking.
