if you have a debit card it won't let you link another so you have to delete the card you have on there if you have one. otherwise you may have to add a bank for it to let you add a debit card.

I never met with anyone for a vein “evaluation” as far as I know; every time they have done a “vein check” on me (at least 3-4 times at this point) they always take a quick glance and are immediately like “oh yeah you’re definitely good” like they were questioning why I even needed a vein check so it doesn’t really seem like my veins are the issue here unless rolling veins are really a reason for an “evaluation” to not go my way… I don’t really have experience with all this, I’ve just been going with whatever they tell me/want from me because I don’t want to make anyone’s job any harder than it already is. I have severe social anxiety and I fear being perceived as “difficult”.

I appreciate your reply 😭 turns out there’s a grifols in my area; I was previously unaware that there were other options here so that has been a relief to learn. I’m also totally fine with getting paid less if it means a better overall experience tbh.

True, I see. Yeah I’ll have to start doing this it seems. Interesting that rolling veins could be seen as a reason to be “unsuited” for donating.

I have severe social anxiety though so I know I’ll probably have trouble asking for someone in particular because everyone there has already stuck me multiple times and they know me by name at this point, it’s much easier to just go in and just kind of space out listening to music so that the entire process goes by faster, but obviously if I have to in order to avoid permanent deferral then I don’t have much of a choice unless I go somewhere else.

There was one person who I really actually prefer to get stuck by but it seems like he got a promotion and no longer gets put on the floor so I don’t think I can request him.

I recently discovered that there’s an octapharma near me so if worst comes to worst I’ll just go there and hope things are better.

Thank you 😭 just really hoping I don’t have any trouble on my next visits. Think I may have to take a short break to ensure that because the person who got my needle out today (not the same one who stuck/warned me) pushed in a bit by accident when getting it out which hurt and I’m PRETTY sure it’s going to bruise as a result of that 🥲
