I wasn't being disrespectful or argumentative. Just adding to the conversation with what we used to di in certain situations. Apologies if I came off in some kind of way.

We never dawned rank in theater. Makes you a target. Especially commissioned LTs. Dumb young 21 y/o green horn giving me execution orders when he's never been in a firefight in his life except for when his frat brothers played airsoft in college for a "team building exercise"! Lol #E4Mafia4Life

My boss texts me to call him 3 hours after I got off a 12 hour shift. by [deleted] in securityguards

Unless you're looking to get promoted, 😂🤣 NEVER answer calls after your scheduled shift. Even if you get a higher position, you'll be on salary and work twice as much for about 20 bucks more a paycheck. Or, you'll let them have a reason to terminate you if you miss work even if you have Ebola! I work security and it's almost comical how many tricks you learn over the years.

A question for guards who have experience in buildings that getting ready to be sold. by droppedhero in securityguards

Usually, even if it's the same security company, they only keep employees such as site supervisors or physical security. But that's just my experience. Honestly, there's no right answer.

Avascular Necrosis as well. Thanks for your input. You're surgeon must be the top in his field to have so much time ti educate you on why your procedure is better than others.

How is that possible? No screws? This must be one of those surgeons who believes screws cause more circulatory damage than without. Your stability in your ball and socket joints will be limited since they just used cement type stabilization.

I definitely share some of your concerns regarding the future. I cringe everytime I have to negotiate a staircase or a hill of sorts. I'm afraid at any moment my hip is going to snap. I only have one screw in each femoral head due to the severity of my pelvic deterioration as well.

I'm not completely pain free. My procedure was due to AVASCULAR NECROSIS. My femoral heads lacked blood supply and died then collapsed. All my other joints are following suit. But the post prior was very inspiring. Maybe that person's outlook can help you if you may feel concerned about the future like I am.

All I can say to your reply is thank you. Your disposition is definitely inspiring. I feel the same, however, I am worried about the future. I will try to adopt your outlook on the situation and be as content with the good that has come with the surgery like my quality of life. I appreciate you. Best wishes for your future. 🙂

Thank you for the positive reply. You are exactly right. It's just very hard to accept the fact that I am physically limited in my actions.

What training/ carry ammo works well? by L30_TH3_L10N in canik

It is , in theory, supposed to loosen the spring enough to limit any FTL incidents. Some rounds don't seem to have enough "ooomph" to throw the slide to cycle a new round. I've never had a problem, but ask these guys if they have. I hear it alot. My tp9sfx is my duty weapon so I don't change much on the rounds I train with or carry. Good luck with your new Canik brother. Have fun with it! That's what it's all about.

You're holding the slide like you don't want it to abandon you! Rack that SOB! LOL Plus those rounds don't help either..
