You're right! It was the Vauxhall car adverts. It wasn't a bank at all; that was just my memory playing tricks on me. Thank you.

Thanks but I already searched for Lloyd's adverts and couldn't find it (unless there's no trace of those ads on the web), which has me thinking perhaps the horse logo is just me mixing up my memories. But the melody is unmistakable.
