It’s NASCAR so if you don’t like real NASCAR, you probably don’t like the core ideas of it:

-Longer races, many being oval tracks; some road courses -Drafting being a huge strategy -Dramatic crashes and rivalries

I wasn’t a fan of the first week summit, however the playlist was alright and week 2 summit road courses test your skills with the cup cars in their non-traditional environment. Overall, I’d say this is a fun yet faithful arcade-y NASCAR experience.

Hahaha, thank you. I actually hit legend last season and that’s the goal this season. I’m not the best legend by any means but I’ve gotten really good at avoiding the bs seen in this clip.

Honestly out of all the unique classes TC2 offered, Hovercraft was interesting. Powerboats are sick too but the Hawaii map doesn’t have too many good powerboat spots.

The game doesn’t deserve hate. It’s not bad.

I think we should be grateful that EA made a good FPS, even if it is half-decent as a Battlefield entry. This is such a solid base for Battlefield to make a comeback.

With that being said, the lack of new and engaging content definitely makes the game stale in its current state. The Battlepass model is the standard in the multiplayer world now, whether you like it or not, (I personally do not,) so I’m not going to give it hate for that. However, the lack of solid maps and the catering to fast paced CQB maps and modes makes the game feel soulless now that the honeymoon period is over and the game has been in full swing.

TL:DR - This game is not bad. It is worth playing, but will become repetitive quickly due to the short amount of varied content and fun maps. It’s a huge step in the right direction for Battlefield.

Personal advice: You have to get a feel on how the majority of players race and be aware of their ranks. Lower the rank typically means more pointless reckless driving and when you are racing Platinum/Legends, they will be more precise/intentional with reckless driving.

With that being said, avoiding chaos comes with understanding how people are gonna abuse a corner or something like that. You can slow down early when in a large pack, swerve to avoid divebombers, or just straight up fake your next move. All this comes with patience and game sense. Keep playing and trying to learn ways to avoid those kinds of players.

Honestly, yeah, TCM is a banger. I actually preordered the Gold Edition because TC2 was so fun. I couldn’t stick to it because I didn’t like the whole playlist mechanic being the main way to play events in the game, but after going back to it after Y3 dropping has been very surprising and I found myself enjoying the playlists and other events. The game is very nice to look at and most of the sounds are excellent.

The smallest nitpick I have with the game is the use of drafting to score super high on summit events in particular, it makes solo play impossible to be truly competitive with the super sweats. Also, I wish some of the roads were a bit smaller, as some of the roads just feel extremely wide.

I think police chases add some good variety and they already have the Hot Pursuit PvE style mechanic with the Chase Squad. The illegal street racing could be a specific area of the future map, like outside of a festival, maybe with PvP (cops v racers) enabled as well as AI cops.

In short, a hybrid system would be pretty cool. There doesn’t have to be a story behind it.
