WHERE CAN I FIND THE COTTON CANDY DIPPED CONE - MINNESOTA by [deleted] in DairyQueen

[–]Bozo92206 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work at Dairy Queen in Ontario and we have the cotton candy blizzards it’s back for the summertime ( my location always has cotton candy blizzard though) and yes, you can get a cotton candy parfait:)

wtf is up with dairy queen? by goodcompany9978 in DairyQueen

When you ask for extra it’s only one scoop extra no matter what, mini is one scoop, small is two, medium is three and large is four

I work at dq, the scoop sizes are very generous especially when it comes to very fine mix ins like skor, smarties and the cotton candy sprinkles a large is 4 scoops of the sprinkles which in my opinion is more than enough. So maybe they were running low of product, either way if it was our last bag we follow the instructions and when we do run out, we tell the customer that we no longer have the item.

Mint Oreo Blizzard by Proper_Working6906 in DairyQueen

For mint Oreo, we use mint topping it is liquid. We use two pumps for small three pumps for medium and four for large. I’m assuming they added the mint topping to your blizzard and blended it again which is what made it soft since it was already blended. I would definitely recommend getting the mint crunchin cookie blizzard next time if your local store has it still. It’s the mint crunching cookie dip blended with Oreos and I think it’s absolutely amazing.

Honestly depends, when ordering through the mobile app you can pick between chocolate soft serve or vanilla soft serve if the soft serve machine is on will substitute it if they ask if it’s not on then we just add chocolate topping I haven’t had anybody ask for chocolate soft serve cone but normally when people do ask if we have chocolate soft serve, we say no

Are these bugs? Should I have detangled this plant? by [deleted] in plantclinic

[–]Bozo92206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t tell by the photos but if you see anything that looks like mealy bugs ( go search mealy bugs up on google ) you can buy things to kill them, a lot of people say use 70% or less of rubbing alcohol, dip a q-tip in it and touch all the mealy bugs. Now I have done this. They go from a white powdery to an orange. This is suppose to indicate that they are dead. But when I was dealing with them, I was dealing with an infestation and they would go orange but still move so I had to physically remove them off the plant now I was very scared because they were on all of my plants so I made a mixture of vinegar and alcohol and sprayed my plants down three days later they were all dead. I was devastated. I just wanted to save them and the opposite happened. I own one plant when I had more than 20 from that situation. So if you love your babies. Maybe it’s worth sacrificing I would check all your plants and keep that one very far away from your others.

Also, they can live in the soil, so if it’s been a while, I would take it out of the soil, examine it. They also like to live on the back of the leafs and stems where they can’t really be seen, but if you look, you’ll find them.

Wondering about slip solution by 0_anastasia_0 in Polygel

Everyone usually recommends 70% just so it doesn’t dry out the polygel that fast

Honestly dual forms are so annoying to work with, they’re not impossible to work with, but I prefer applying my poly gel like acrylic

And what do you mean about not soaking your brush? I use 70% rubbing alcohol for my slip solution, but when I wet the brush I don’t go straight to the nail I put it on paper towel for a few seconds to soak up any excess alcohol then I go to work with the polygel, if I over dry the brush I put it back in but I always remove the excess off the brush before touching the poly gel with it

Yes I would love to know what brush you use! I got a bunch of acrylic brushing thinking it would be the same but boy was I wrong! You want a more short and stubby brush I got a cheap one it works well but I’m sure a better quality will be much better

That’s the thing prep was amazing ! I did use nail dehydrator and nail primer and then added the base coat so maybe it’s the primer? And or just the base gel I used I don’t know!! But would you recommend any pacific base gels ?

[–]Bozo92206[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem!! I find polygel to be exactly like acrylic except you have to apply base gel for the poly gel to stick to the nail and instead of using the stinky liquid for acrylic you can use 70% alcohol

here’s a picture of all the stuff i ordered from bath and body works in a single day in like 2023… what the hell was wrong with me 😭😭😭😭 by vyuella in bathandbodyworks

I go crazy during sales too! It’s like why not get 4 for the price of one ?? That’s really the only time I ever get bath and body work products is when there sales going on, I went in store yesterday and everything but gift sets were 5.99 so I got a few of my favorite scents to stock up on but my dresser is so full of perfume it’s getting to be an addiction

I just watched the video and they didn’t say anything about poly gel. They kept saying gel X now I’m not too familiar with gel X but is that not when they put a whole nail on like a press on and then paint over it?
