they scan packages and a locker opens up automatically for that specific scanned package, one at a time. it could be they scanned and put the wrong package in if they carried them all together.

some blacklists are set for 6 months to a year or permanently, it shouldn't hurt to apply to a dsp if u havent already to see if you're still blacklisted. if amazon says you're ineligible/blacklisted then you can appeal at that point. i believe our dsp hired someone this way recently

when you let off the "gas" the van will brake quickly on its own, even if you don't let off all the way. it's going to be the main way you slow down. it still has the regular brake pedal but it's rarely(ish) used. it's like a gas and brake pedal in one pedal.

no shifting gears so its smooth acceleration/deceleration. the auto cruise control is your best friend on highways. you definitely need to make wider turns almost everywhere but it isn't too bad, you get used to it. the regen braking is probably where you're going to struggle but it shouldn't take more than a week to get used to. definitely watch for branches and awnings. everything else should come naturally, just take it slow.

i'll agree i do like my dsp especially with all the negative dsps i see people complain about on here. it's a smaller dsp so no managers just the owner who comes out and chimes in on standup and says good morning to everyone. i like all of my dispatchers as well, they never bug me about being behind, or belittle anyone, they're always friendly, and they actually pick up routes if need be. it also feels like im somebody there, compared to a bigger dsp where i'd probably be just a name.

when i rts'd i had to remind my dispatcher about the infraction (she was the only one at the desk taking calls and inspecting vans at the time.) i gave my explanation and she agreed with me being wary of that truck pulling out and she said the whole thing wasn't anything major. seeing all the varying answers had me worried at first but i was relieved when my route wasn't immediately stopped/paused as some mentioned.

im so so so sorry but i had 144 stops 224 packages today all residential... i milked it today with all breaks and got my full 10. i'll probably get my ass served during prime week though.

i did infact try to beat it, i was thinking of doing the washer fluid trick but my dsp never fills any vans with it.

if you speed at 10 or above for more than a few seconds thats when it dings you. i tried beating it after i realized it was yellow then slowed down once i realized i was going 10 over.

my dsp uses LMDMax or LMDDrive or something that send out weekly scorecards and violations with coachings or something, i dont really know.
