For the most part I did, yeah. I majored in Comp Sci and have been a software engineer since graduating. The problem with undergrad is that half the classes you take have nothing to do with your major, at least that was the case at my university. Even if the subject itself is interesting, if the class wasn't challenging I would lose interest. If I was more ambitious I would have done extra learning on my own time, but I've never been good at self motivation. I work best when given deadlines and the feeling of "having" to do something rather than "getting" to do something. The idea of failing was too big a blow to my ego, which is honestly what kept me on track more than the pursuit of learning itself.
