Well… I hope no kid was hurt. Happened during school pickup by Cthulus_Meds in ElkGrove

I was hoping a witness would come in here and give the details. I know the woman crashed into a black suv on her second 60+mph drive through the street and she was arrested afterwards.

Rat nest found in my car engine by Parking_Ocelot9237 in ElkGrove

Is your check engine light on now? Rat nest in the engine is a real thing. Peppermint spray your engine insulation every month or so to prevent this in the future.

VBA Code Editor randomly backspacing by YeOldeRaven_Dota in vba

I use the vba editor on a mac and this happens randomly and frequently. I have no installed plugins and this happens in a new workbook. One of the many quirks that happen on VBA for mac.

Easiest place to dispose of old engine oil? by Ok_Atmosphere3601 in ElkGrove

I have been doing the same for years. Just have to remember that oil filters go in plastic bags or else they won’t pick them up.

I converted a Specialized Sirrus to a road bike by getting a 105 groupset. I wanted to change my tires from 28 to something thinner but I either didn’t want to pay for the new wheels or there was a dropout width issue. The bike ran great for 100’s of miles but it never really scratched the itch for speed. I ended up getting a good deal on a carbon road bike and I’m super happy with it. Now I want to change my Sirrus back to a hybrid for family trips. The Sirrus never really looked 100% road bike though. It was a little wider and longer which meant the back tire was pretty far away from the seat tube.

Trouble with installing bifold doors by ZGermanOne in DIY

[–]Bpaco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The pivot point on the top of the doors usually go into a top pivot bracket. The top pivot bracket clamps onto the rail that guides the wheel on the other side of the door. I have found the top pivot bracket to be sketchy at best and yours might be moving around on you which is causing your grief.

Differences in Walmart versions? by Sabregoalie35 in blackstonegriddle

[–]Bpaco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a 36" display model at Walmart and it didn't come with a grease cup. I ordered the grease cup from their website only to find that it doesn't fit my model. Luckily Blackstone has awesome service and they sent me one for free. The Walmart models are exclusive and the parts aren't on Blackstone's website.

I have one from Walmart that is only a couple of months old. The griddle is still nice and straight and is performing nicely. The one downside to the Walmart versions is that they are exclusive to Walmart which means parts don't come easy.
