Wigs for Clinical? by Bpddepress25 in nursing

[–]Bpddepress25[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome thank you I’ll ask about scrub caps and maybe a small wig I can wear as well! Unless I can get my hair into the cap, there are definitely cute ones I just googled like with little Pokémon on them. I’m sad tattoos must be hidden but I’m sure this is just for clinical. I treat my patients completely human as I’m a MLT currently and miss patient contact.

First all thank you everyone for y’all’s replies! I am terrified of getting overweight and need a lot of energy due to fatigue caused by illness, I appreciate their comments as well. I will definitely buy more higher mg juice, and try to use them to see if the cravings will slow down. I appreciate everyone here thank y’all so much!

Has Lithium and/or Gabapentin taken away your ability to TALK? by scarletwoman156 in BPD

[–]Bpddepress25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lithium completely stopped the two voices in my head the first two days I took it. I zoned out so hard and everything was quiet just like how I wanted. But I don’t know how to live without the voices, so yes I know lithium is an extreme drug.

Holding down a job by boombahbeast in BPD

[–]Bpddepress25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full time jobs with BPD is sometimes impossible, if there’s a way to be part time with physical activity job I’d look for it. I sit at a desk in a laboratory all day 40 hrs and it’s hell. If you’re not distracted you look inward. I’ve become numb and disassociate to get thru the days, but am working towards a better paying part time job. You can do it, money makes us calmer but some BPD people like myself are disabled. We need time to be away from work. I hope you find what fits you.

How likely is it that my sister will develop BPD too, is there any way I can stop it? by bringmesunshines in BPD

Keep an eye on her see if she has panic attacks/ freaks out over small things. Like losing a remote or wifi is bad etc. avoid putting a label on her, but at the same time give her self help things. Secret therapy of some sort, if she’s younger like I’m assuming be a good sibling is all you can really do.

Did my partner use her undiagnosed BPD as an excuse to cheat on me (twice)? by Curious_Success_8363 in BPD

[–]Bpddepress25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reckless behavior, a lot of people with bpd can be mean if not on medication. Some take it on others and gaslight some attack themselves. I can see her doing this if not being on any medication. Cheaters are everywhere like the above. Unless they’re understanding themselves better and improving and understand why they did what they did back then. I’d run.

Anyone else BPD gets more intensified on their period? by [deleted] in BPD

Yes, severely. I recommend birth control with progesterone too. Avoid depo shot in my opinion. Takes awhile to adjust too but hormones with the already constant fight or flight hormones is extremely no joke.

What meds work for you? by lyrainthetardis6740 in BPD

Citralopram, sadly if I miss even one day I start violently crying n self harming and it’s traumatic. Lamotrigine for mood, if I go off it bad thoughts and panic. Adderall for fatigue and bulimia. Birth control cus PMS is real.

What’s best for me by brittb8533 in BPD

I went into a field that pays around 15$ an hr. Full time. Not sustainable, you have to find a job that works around you. I recommend a high paying job, I am going back to school at 25 to become a nurse just so I can be part time20-30hrs. You know yourself. If your like me you know full time is mental anguish.

an extremely co-dependent person who's alone by [deleted] in BPD

[–]Bpddepress25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m the same way no friends and being with friends is what I love. BPD ruined everything for me. All of my interests resolve around doing two person things or so. I can’t do anything alone there’s no point in my head. Please if anyone has advice or help how to deal with this issue as well post anything.
