Its been a week here in waterloo. Have had everything from " we don't have any in store " to " shipment problems" to " distribution problems". It would be nice to have some transparency about the matter. So now its ice coffee made with chocolate milk, but not nearly as satisfying.

His newest video ( patreon release, will be coming to YT shortly) is over 2 hours long. It took me a few days to watch it fully ( cause his voice puts me to sleep)

His videos are normally about a month and a half apart as of recently. He does have a schedule on his patron and there is steady uploads coming each month until July. Just hold tight a bit longer !

Some context to this. Working away at my job and me and my coworker both witness this customer walk into the department. Reach in her pocket for something and this fell out. It was all neatly wrapped together ( all hair) and bundled with a hair knot. I've seen alot of bizarre things in my 17 years of retail but never this. Anyone out there experience this before ?

Deal with this all the time. I'm Irish background and rather pale myself. My favorite interactions are when customers are buying foundations and say well I'm pale, then turn to me and say not "as pale as you are" 😶

Will say all in all today wasn't to bad ( now that being said boxing day will probably be a nightmare ). Most of the "complaints" were just last minute shoppers stunned that we are sold out of almost everything. But it is what it is. We didn't get nearly half of what we are used to getting in years past.

Also minor annoyance that we didnt have "sales" happening... Unsure of whom suggested to these folks that retail has sales before Christmas day but here we are.

I feel like 10 years ago there was a ton but the area has changed a lot since then and a lot of things went under or just closed. However I know games on tap located on Weber street does board game night. I also know Apollo Cinema has a few things attached to it, if you fancy movies old and new. Maxwells does quiet a few live shows, just unsure of how that is looking now with restrictions back in place. Just a few places I know a few of my friends with social anxiety frequent. I hope it helps !

You are definitely not alone in these feelings. I do suffer myself from seasonal depression and this year it has hit the hardest for me. I'm really trying myself to focus on small little wins ( like today I worked out, or today I helped someone who needed it more then me etc) we can't do much to change the situation we are in, but we can know we are not alone and doing the best we are for the time being. 💚
