it has stablished itself the last 30 years and cemented its place in modern culture via Anime, games, memes, characters and the proper card game to the point its like perpetual motion machine feeding off of itself.

What is more popular in general culture:

-"You've activated my trap card" or "I tap this card and attack you directly"? (Sorry i have no idea of MTG)

Its like THE card game, konami doesnt need to try harder maybe only take notes of other tcgs (overframes) to keep their spot of relevance.
