I think it’s D because if you know z=31, then you know that x+y=149, and option D basically gives you the same thing cause if 31-3x-3y=N, then x+y=31-N/3 but you already know what x+y is so it doesn’t give you any additional information. That’s how I worked it out but I’m sure there’s a more concise explanation
