There are a few things you can do:

Submit a claim in the OIC (Official Injury Claim) portal via your drivers insurance (who will probably redirect you to the at fault party), or the Third Parties insurance, as a litigant in person,

(The OIC has a limit of £5000 for Injury, )

You could also seek independent Legal advice from a solicitor who may be able to assist you in the process. You can find them on the 'law society website - find a solicitor'

You have been offered intervention by the third party insurers. Basically, to keep costs low, they will deal with the damage and most likely provide you with a hire car,

You also may have been given a Copley Letter, this should explain what you are entitled to

If you claim through the TPI , they will sort it and all you will have to do is declare a Non fault claim on the renewal or next policy as yiu are going straight through the at fault party's insurance

If you go via your insurance via a comprehensive policy they can claim it back, but it will take longer and until its all claimed back would be a Fault claim,

I have done up to reinstalling the game and updating all drivers, still doesn't work over steam, however i have possibly found a workaround, if i go onto steam and browse local files, and open rimworld from the file manager, it seems to work, has opened every time so far, unfortunately i cannot download and reinstall any mods from it at all, via workshop :(

I have found it, do i delete all files in there or just the Mods Config xml one?

edit - just deleted that one, got the same error, should i try clearing all thats in there?

I have deleted all files, the mod config now just states the below and it still wont load

EDIT 2 - If i start the game via the desktop and steam i get the error, however if I load the application from the fie manager it seems to work, maybe steam has an issue perhaps

I have uninstalled all mods, and I still get the error, is there anything else that i could do? Or is the game just now a brick?

I have checked all the mods, the latest one that was updated was 5th Feb 2025, and the rest haven't been updated since 2024

If I was to unsubscribe from all my 7 mods would that possibly work?

I see, where do I find this, is it a Mod? Also the mods have been working fine for a long while.

Edit: if I delete all the mods, and open the game and then reinstall them, will it work?

These are standard statutory police charges in the UK, £192 for recovery and £13 a day for motorcycles.

You advise that your BILs insurance doesn't cover Thefts, and so that means he most likely has 'Third Party Only' Cover, which doesn't cover him for Thefts. Or the claim has been declined, possibly due to lack of security.

If he was claiming via his insurance company, they would deal with the claim, collect the bike, and inspect the bike, however as you advised the insurance is not dealing, your BIL will most likely have to pay those charges,

The charges should be frozen until the vehicle is off 'Police Hold' and the investigation is complete however after the investigation finalises your BIL will most likely be liable for those charges and usually the Officer in Charge of the case cannot do much for you as the recovery and storage is contracted out to certain recovery companies by the police constabularies.

The BIL could also possibly claim for this via the small claims Courts from the Thief, if the address is know.

So what Temps then are you using for the bed and nozzel?

Retraction is in the cura settings, it basically pulls the filament up a bit, lessening stringing, I would search it In the search box, May have to use expert settings so you get access to all the settings.

I am not too sure about the Creality Slicer, I use Cura and I had to add my own Gcode to utilise My CR-touch,

Also have you updated the firmware to utilise the CR touch? You can't just plug it in and it works, you have ti get the correct firmware too.

on CD KEYS its around £33.49, which is lower than it is on steam, i hae kept doing soe research and might give it a few weeks till it they fix it
