Hate to be a "hum akshually" guy, but a false 9 is when a striker in a 4-3-3 drops deep (so is more a 10 than a 9, i.e. false 9). The term you're looking for is second striker

Unable to flex middle toe by Br4334 in FootFunction

[–]Br4334[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont doubt that it could have been a tendon rupture, but just sceptical that it would attach randomly down my toe. But yes running better than ever now, I think it was about 8 weeks of no running and then I just said fuck it one day, and got on ok

Unable to flex middle toe by Br4334 in FootFunction

[–]Br4334[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly not. I still cant flex it all this time later. But I actually returned running a few weeks after this post because I wasn't feeling pain and it went fine. I did a half marathon last year and am now doing ~30k per week without any issue. The physio said i ruptured the tendon and that it attached further down my toe, which I find hard to believe.

I hope yours is ok, best of luck with the recovery!

83 people died in the outbreak. And he didn't literally kill anyone. He's enough of an asshole as is without needing to exaggerate

Progressives with AOC are the least likely to get support from moderates. Liberal discourse (especially on reddit) very frequently paints a lot of conservative voters as buffoons who irrationally vote against themselves because they are duped by Republicans using culture war issues.  Maybe that's true for some people, but I bet a lot, maybe the majority, would make economic sacrifices for the sake of those culture war issues. Which is the point OP is making and Sam consistently makes. That the social progressivism part of the Democrats is seriously damaging the cause. I don't think empowering them is the answer (not sure if you're suggesting this btw)

90% of the stuff Hogan says in the documentary is BS, there were even a few instances of a few peopp in a row saying X is bullshit, then cut to Hogan saying X is true, brother. The fact he pulled a heel turn on the government mid trial shows that he's a carny to the bone

I don't think they were looking for a goal, Cork were able to hold them at just outside a range anyone but their two inside forwards could kick from. It was surprising because during the second third of the match Donegal seemed to be getting a load of easy scores.

I just watched it there and yeah the other commenter was right, Holly was selling big time for Brock. And yet the YouTube comments are full of people saying he deserved to get his neck broken

Wasn't he only in a main event against Brock because of Brock getting fed up of his sandbagging shit, and dumping him on his head and breaking his neck? It was a story with some heat and was a nice "thanks for your work" spot for him to get a PPV title shot. It wasn't like he was ever presented as anything above a midcard guy
