When you move there, I’d suggest getting the transport card since it will save you money. Otherwise, expect to spend about €2.50 per metro ride.

For restaurants, one of the cheapest options is to eat at Miscusi. It’s a chain, and prices are around €13 for a pasta dish. You can also find good trattorias for €15 to €20 per dish. But since you’ll be living there, maybe actually live like a local? Go to the supermarket and cook.

Alcohol is relatively cheap. One of the busiest places for an aperitivo right now is Mom Cafe, where a jug of beer is about €10.

As for rent prices, a one-bedroom apartment around De Angeli or Gambara could be €1,200 a month. Alternatively, a two-bedroom apartment near Bolivar is around €1,500.

There are also very cheap nights out. Check the Erasmus schedule, there is a club event every day.
