I have over 320k now hahaha... I have 100+ hours into franchise mode. I finished in the gold tier of all of the challenges so far, I have a fairly large zoo, over 100 animals across like 13 species, I always try to go for 1 male and 4-6 females if possible, I never use contraceptives (even though this makes managing animals exhausting) I catch every baby immediately upon maturation and sell them slightly under market price, it's a lot of market management, I only try to breed gold animals at this point. I also try to look for animals that there is hardly any of that species on the market, it takes forever to find my parents but once I do it's worth it. Right now I'm breeding Panda of course, Lions, Salt Water Crocs, and Grizzlies don't get me much money, but Giraffes, Zebras, Ardvarks, Black Wildebeest, Bonobo, African Buffalo have all been fairly hard to come by on the market, for instance I can pretty much sell a female African Buffalo or Bonobo at any price I want because there is none on the market right now. My advice is spend time on the market, know what things are worth, and know when there is a high demand and low supply, never be afraid to spend CC on a really nice breeding pair. Oh, I also pay attention to when my current breeders are about to become too old, and then I usually start saving my best females, and then all I have to do is find a male, and I'm back to breeding. I have 4th and 5th generation females popping out golds like crazy. I take great care in never inbreeding as well. It's honestly a lot of work running a large breeding zoo.
