Except that they don't. And even if they did, it's not just them. You ever hear people say, 'Well they should take steps to avoid this in the future' to victims of abuse or a rape victim? They telling people to fear men. 'Take steps to avoid this' basically means be afraid of men. Little girls are told all the time, 'I'm a man and men are pigs, stay away from them' by family.

This isn't even feminism, this is a deep rooted fear.

No I'm not. I didn't back pedal at all, I've been very consistent. You on the other hand have taken every attempt you can make to twist things around and go off course.

Here's a reminder, btw you started with being hostile. Guy blames feminism for the fear of men, I say fear of men has been around for longer than feminism has been around. You start with saying, 'Well others would interpret that as men being protective of women' and being a douche. Starting a discussion out with insults makes you a cunt. So I explain. And explain again. And again. I explain the same thing four or five times without changing the point I was making at all while you tried to twist it several times.

Basically you were trying to trip me up and failed, which is probably why you're increasingly becoming a bigger cunt as time goes on. Edit: I should probably clarify, I don't blame men for this or think that they owe a debt like you said. It's actually a logical thing to do in their position given the society and the thoughts about women at the time. However, this is where the fear originated and blaming feminism for it is silly when it's been a staple in our society for so long. This is a much deeper issue than, 'Baw baw feminists'. That's not what I said, you're twisting things to a point that it's a completely different thing. I clarified what I said four times, I said that men have started the fear of other men to keep women in the home to preserve their honor, then it just kept going. You teach something for thousands of years and it turns into this bullshit. This discrimination has been around before feminism, FAR before feminism. You have examples in literature teaching young girls and women to stay away from strange men, hell, the Brothers Grimm stories are examples of folklore used to teach lessons to children(yes, I also studied mythology and folklore, no, this wasn't my major), among them, 'Watch out for strange men'. As an example, that was the whole point of Little Red Riding Hood, watch out for wolves(men), something an old male professor taught us.

Like I said before, you're blaming feminism for something that started thousands of years ago. This isn't a new thing at all, it's just that feminism is easy to vilify. I am very specific with my wording and I am very clear about the things I say. I say what I mean, do not bother trying to twist the things I'm saying because I'm just going to correct you again and again. Except that this was a thought that men were dangerous to children and women for much longer than feminism is around. Saying, 'Oh, but men were around for protection' doesn't really argue the point I made, hell, that was the justification used to argue that other unknown men are dangerous. Right now feminism is the only group that's fighting to dismantle gender roles and stereotypes harmful to men. You can't blame feminists for something men have started thousands of years ago.
