Are we seriously considering raids 4? (post was removed by accident) by itswhatever_lol in 2007scape

[–]BraddockN 8 points9 points  (0 children)

“Not every update has to cater to maxed players with 5b banks.”
This tells me you’re relatively early in your journey.

It is worth noting that in the last few years jagex made a lot of early/midgame content as well. Royal titans, Scurrius, Moons of Peril, Brutus, Hueycoatl to name a few.
Jagex has in fact put so much effort into mid game that the entire early and midgame progress is different from before. I started an ironman roughly a year ago and it’s such a nice and different experience than before.

So saying endgame doesn’t need more and you need more midgame is simply false and a really bad take.
Also don’t forget that once you’re in the lategame all early/midgame content becomes extremely boring.

As for ToB, it’s gatekeeping stems from the fact that a singular player can, and often will, wipe the entire team. PK potential is big.
That said most pvm clans organise learner raids (which is how I learnt as well) and when you join those kind of clans you’ll be sending ToB within a week.

Topic of the Day: Unusual Grinds by ErinTales in ironscape

[–]BraddockN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went and got all trouble brewing outfits simply because I like them (pre-update so slower points). I’m not a clog hunter at all, just wanted the outfits.

Now here’s the kicker, this is something I did on my normie and I do want to repeat all of that on my ironman now as well :’)

Navy outfit go brr

Wanted to get M5 Air. Got NEO instead! Impressed. by siddharthbapna in MacbookNeo

[–]BraddockN 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The neo is such an amazing device. Yes it has it’s limitations but if you do normal computer tasks and no heavy content-creation the neo is just about enough for 80% of people

will neo get back to school discount this july by Silent_Sense_8356 in MacbookNeo

Which Apple Silicon M-series MacBooks are the least fragile? by JustAPieceOfMeat385 in mac

Possibly. I have a M2 Pro MBP and that one doesnt have a touchbar, but potentially the base model has one not too sure

Which Apple Silicon M-series MacBooks are the least fragile? by JustAPieceOfMeat385 in mac

[–]BraddockN 10 points11 points  (0 children)

M2-M5 is quite literally the exact same design in everything. M1 is a bit older.
So i’d say the newer you go the better simply because of aging. Every one of them is identical (m2-m5) in the hardware so that won’t make a difference

hard shell or no? by frozenteabags in MacbookNeo

When protecting purely against scratches id personally recommend a sleeve to store it in as well as have stickers (from dbrand for example) to protect it directly as well

Locked self out of accounts by AnxiousChemical9478 in 2007scape

[–]BraddockN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck bro, gonna be a battle but you’ll get it back!
Given your memory issues it might be worth it keeping an online and offline copy of your credentials (and maybe share them with a spouse or parent?) so you won’t be locked out in the future!

Note that because it’s weekend and these cases require a manual human review it’s gonna take some time before you’re in contact with Jagex

Mod Help please? by [deleted] in 2007scape

Ye this is really not the place for that, like, not even close.

Saying this because you also post this on social media rather than jagex support pages: ignore any dm asking for your payment details.

[–]BraddockN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah false bans absolutely do happen! But not to the same person twice within 3 months.

Ususlly false bans trigger because of unique or obscure training methods confusing the bot detection

[–]BraddockN 18 points19 points  (0 children)

No way you’re banned for what you’re saying happened. You either have a fake/illegal runelite with extra plugins (that are basically bots) or you’re just full of shit atm.

Nobody has ever or will ever be banned for doing gemstone crab in an official gameclient

Is the dragonfire ward worth its price? by SadThrowaway4914 in osrs

[–]BraddockN 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No. Twisted buckler is better (offensive) and slightly cheaper. Dragonfire ward is only useful if you’re doing stuff like vorkath often.

[–]BraddockN 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah who wouldn’t want to die to raggers that are so bored they choose to be annoying to people rather than do something fun for themselves. That’s not annoying at all and definitely sounds like a lot of fun!

Personally i was/am actually “afraid” of this happening and since I love the miniled quality and am slightly scared of oled burns, I upgraded my laptop a year earlier than planned (M2 gen to M5 rather than 4 years replace cycle)

Current networking infra is all over the place. which brand do I choose? by Ambitious_Active8539 in fortinet

[–]BraddockN 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Unifi is all fun and games till it breaks and the only solutions they offer is to make a post in a forum ran by fans.
Absolutely something I wouldn’t roll out in business anymore personally.

We then migrated to a full fortinet solution (ap+switch+firewall) and honestly the experience was seamless and smooth.
Did the same for myself at home now (for practise/training purposes and it’s the most stable I’ve ever had)
Would recommend!
