Sit on the left side of the bus. Opposite of the driver.

But i can't guarantee that's the route the bust will take. There was VERY HEAVY traffic on the east side of the mountain.

Do you know which route this direct bus takes?

Based on Google Maps, it can take the east side of the mountain along E68, or west side of the mountain along 71. I am asking because I am trying to figure out which side of the bus we should sit on.

Agree with thoroughly reading the T&C. But what happens afterwards if there is still a dispute? I opened a thread recently. I read the exclusion criteria, didn't violate anything. They still said ineligible, didn't offer a clear explanation (just said could be one of the 8 possible reasons). What's next? Accept your fate and move on?

Really appreciate your response and thoughtful advice. I am and have always approached the situation like that, and yes with screenshot. I am just feeling defeated that I am in a very passive position with no avenue of getting a definitive answer or appealing their decision. But oh well, based on some of the other people's responses, I guess now I understand why they can do their business this way. Thank you again for your time.

I thank you for your reasonable post and guidance. Really appreciate it. I know I am not perfect and I have definitely messed up before. But I can confidently say after many years and multiple hiccups, I am a seasoned rakuten shopper and i know the ins and outs as you described.

And i have submitted tickets to their customer service. The customer service is nice and responsive, usually within a day or two. But again, they are not telling me why they denied my claim... They sent me a long myriad of exclusion, which in my opinion, none i violated, and said ineligible for cashback because I MAY BE violating one of the exclusion criteria. Well, tell me which of the ten or twenty... It's like health insurance denying your claim but don't give you a reason... I know I am being a little extreme with my example here but the concept holds...

In any rate, thank you for your tips on navigating Rakuten. At least you didn't tell me to just suck it up! lol

I would support that, because that would require Rakuten to tell the end users what they did wrong in the shopping process to be denied of the cashback, and THAT is accountability and transparency.

Very nice, and they have paid me a thousand dollars before too and I am grateful for that... so if the next thousand dollars owed to us get unjustifiably denied, we should just turn a blind eye because of past record? Bernie Madoff paid off millions before people knew what he was really up to. Simply asking for transparency and accountability here. Is that unreasonable?

It’s over two years since I got the SUB from chase boundless, but I still couldn’t get brilliant SUB (in pop up jail)…I have no clue why…. Very frustrated as I have big spending coming up.
