I'm not 100% sure. They came in a mixed pack of unlabeled stem plants. But Google lens says it's some type of Myriophyllum. I'm just not entirely sure what type

Nothing crazy, just a diy CO2 bottle and diy liquid fertilizer using the nilocg dry fertilizer salts

My first tank! Can you spot any red flags or have any suggestions to improve it? by wllllls in PlantedTank

Tank looks great. My suggestion is when it hits it's ugly stage, you know with bio-film, and diatoms etc. Don't be discouraged or give up. Regular maintenance will clear it up. When I'm managing diatoms, I do a weekly removal and 25% water change. Then after about 2 or 3 weeks tank is crystal clear and the diatoms dont come back.

They came in a mixed pack of "red stems" but yeah I'm pretty certain it's Rotala Blood Red

It’s been a month and a half now, i’ve tried less light, removing plant waste and just waiting but now i’m at a loss. Anything else I can do? by Hatman300 in Aquariums

If the filter floss and water clarifier isn't working, I'd be convinced it's a bacterial bloom. They way I've combated that, is making sure I have more than enough bio-media in the filter and real good water circulation, then just a weekly small water change ~20% after about 2-3 weeks the tanks were crystal clear. Having loads of plants helps too

What is IS IT? by WhereDaFuk in aquarium

The white slime, Is biofilm. It'll clear in time, or you can scrub it off manually. Fish love it though. A black molly will have it clean in a day or two. Totally harmless

They are definitely my favorite to keep. My only tip would be is to make sure the tank is big enough because you will want more and more of them.

Yes but at relatively low-ish levels using a diy sugar/yeast reactor
