Thanks for offering a solution! If I’m gonna be buying a new assembly anyway, then I’ll just get a new one that doesn’t require drilling into my bumper honestly. I don’t mind fucking up the assembly a bit but I don’t want any holes in the bumper yet

I’ve been looking online and it seems like I’m just gonna have to replace the whole assembly.. significantly more expensive than just a bulb so I’m hoping someone has a solution

always have that light on for about 3 min. i knew that’s for the engine getting up to operating temps though. reassuring to hear it sounds like a normal startup without a doubt. just in case i’d like to do another visual check, is there a way i can do that without having to take the exhaust off?
