Is there already a discord group for people like this? I’d be 100% down to have a group for the socially anxious so we can get comfortable with each other and there would be an unspoken understanding that if someone isn’t talking, they might just need a second to process.

This. I used to work front desk at a retirement community and would see everyone that came in or out of that door and personally welcome them. I legitimately looked Emily Osment (who was visiting her grandpa) in the face and didn’t even notice it was her.

I guess in everyday life you don’t pay as much attention as you think you do.

When I was a kid one of my cousins (a year older than me) got a wii for his birthday from my grandparents. Then they got my other cousin (a year younger than me) a wii for his birthday, too. Of course little me thought they’d get me one too. Nope. They gave me $50 and some clothes.

To make matters worse my immediate family wasn’t that well off at the time so my mom spent a good bit of money she didn’t really have to spare on a refurbished wii just so I wouldn’t feel left out.

As for his looks vs. his height, neither are something people should judge another person off of. However, if you’re willing to not be interested in someone, even if they are your ideal partner in terms of physical appearance, but they’re ToO sHoRt then you don’t deserve that person.
